WOULD YOU LOOK AT THE LENGTH OF THIS SENTENCE?
I've been telling you – and I'm not alone here – that with Barack Obamamessiah running for president we're rapidly going to degenerate into a situation where any criticism of Obama made by anyone who isn't black is going to be labeled as racism. What's more, if he is elected we're going to have four years (and probably only four) of dismissals of any criticisms as race-based. This is going to get real old real fast.
Just to reinforce my feelings here I want to share an email we received from a distraught listener. We made no attempt to correct any spelling or to try to make the message more readable. Just have fun ... and try to count the words in the first sentence!

Message: i am writing you to tell u u are a under cover racist u can stand the fact that if obama wins that a black man would be running the country that why u keep feeding to people that listen to your show that if he wins if white people dont like his policies they are racist thats not true i dont like anything bush does but i love all colors god made on this earth uyou are afraid of change you and the other republicans you don't want to change that good ole boy politics that the republicans always stand for obama is trying to give everybody a fair shake in the world not just the wealty as always i already know limbuagh is a racist u are just trying to be like your idle rush to get rednecks to listen to you more than half of your callers i you really ask them how would they feel if a black man ran the country i bet they will beat around the bush see the thing is you dont want change what you really want is 2008 to turn back to 1958 i listen to royal and belinda comment to you belinda listeners can tell she doesnt agree with anything you say it just she has to work their i bet she is going to vote for obama and i bet you would fire her if she does and royal is nothing but your ed Mcmachman to your johnny carson yes sir you are right sir royal you are black man and you listen to his crap everyday and you don't say anything i bet you are going to vote for mccain to please your master neal you are one of the BIGGEST uncle toms i have seen ever i hope you sleep well at night tell me what good bush have done please all those troops killed sons fathers daughters moms bush has alot to answer for on judgement day and mccain what good will he do he looks through the same glass as bush no changes just same ole crap you hate anybody that has less than u but only god will judge you good luck.ps i but u are to chicken sh** to read this on the air
OK ... just to help you out here. I think that first sentence was about 369 words long. You know ... I could swear that the lower-educated voters were supporting Hillary! Doesn't look like it from this email.
WHY THE REPUBLICANS ARE GOING TO GET THEIR ASSES HANDED TO THEM
You need look no further than the vote in the House yesterday to override President Bush's veto of this absurd farm bill. Even while the Republicans are facing certain disaster in November .. they just can't bring themselves to back their president when he vetoes a farm bill laden with pork spending – a farm bill transferring massive amounts of money from the taxpayers to millionaire farmers.
This was a disgusting display – and more evidence that that the Republicans are just begging for the beating that is surely on the way.
Pathetic.

This writer/voter is clearly uneducated in the basics, such as sentence construction, spelling and writing....not to mention logical thinking. Brainwashed youth spewing. Perfect example of our modern day public schools.

That’s just silly. There are plenty of sentences. There’s just no punctuation or capitalization, which is not uncommon in the under-40 crowd. A lot of people type in all small caps in emails and text messages. I’m not saying it’s a good way to present an argument. I’m just saying Neal’s take on sentence length is off the mark.

Considering that, statistically speaking, roughly half the people in the country are below average intelligence, it’s a wonder that we’re not worse off than we already are...
But picking on this message because it supposedly has a very long run-on sentence is missing the mark by a long shot. It's the substance that should be mocked. The lack of punctuation, imo, is merely a sign that the writer is under 40, and does most of his writing in email and text messages.
So that's that. I don't really have anything else to say about it. Boortz missed the mark.
