Wow, I can't get over how real this looks.

Thee is an ad on TV which shows some lovable looking polar bears with a guy in the background only a few feet away. It is clear from a couple of quick views that the bears have been tranquilized. If not the guy would likely be bear food in a short time.

This just in. Global warming has ended. Temperatures are so cold in the Artic now (that's the North Pole for those of you in Rio Linda)that whale breath is freezing as the whales are exhaling. Witness this polar bear stuck on the frozen remains of a whale blow. Poor thing...probably didn't even know what him.....oh the huge manatee!

The Legend of Rockabye Point
Plot An old sailor tells the legend of a starving polar bear (Maxie) who attempted to steal food but kept running into a vicious guard dog. To placate the beast, the bear must sing "Rock-A-Bye Baby" to him to make him nod off. Unfortunately the dog wakes quickly at the slightest noise, and is cranky. The dog eventually chases the bear up a tall mountain. At the end of the picture the sailor says if you listen carefully you can to this day still hear the lullaby at night. Indeed, at the peak the pair stand--both very old and grey now--with the bear holding the dog tenderly and singing "Rock-A-Bye Baby".
It's lonely being a polar bear. So lonely.
