Nixon, too, but not immediately after his VP-term. And Truman.

And, now to be rejected for a Black guy who has no record but that of a State Senator from Illinois, who a year and a half ago was an unknown......

...who was propelled into the spotlight by his opponent's media-manufactured sex scandal.

Seriously, if she ran as an Indy, I think she’d get more votes than Osama-Obama but John McCain would move into the White House. It would be great revenge, however, for her and Bill for the Dems dissing them the way they have in this election year.

Ford wasn’t elected and lost his election bid.

The question was "... and how many VPs have gone on to become president lately??"

Who said anything about being elected?

She can’t bring up Kennedy’s assassination - it’s off the table like Michelle Obama. Nope, can’t bring up historical fact that serves as a second and third example of how the decision isn’t always wrapped up by June.

C'mon, who's being silly now? I would put NOTHING past this evil person, NOTHING! Just waiting for her Freudian slip about breaking off a cap in someone's ...

Unlike Rush, I cannot wait for her to be gone ...gone for good!

You’re allowing your hate for the Clintons to distort your judgement. You’re the one who appears on medication... not I

Nothing to like about Hillary. She is consumed with greed for power, and that makes her doubly dangerous.

Makes little difference whether it’s freudian or just the mindset of someone who is trying to extend the process at any cost.

Either way, she’s done.

It doesn't look like it from the comments you have made.

You keep asking people if they saw the entire video and then do not state what difference that would make!

She is lying about her husband having to wait until Calif to clinch the nomination.

Her reference to the assassination of RK in June, in the middle of the primary season, has nothing to do with her campaign, which is at the end of the primary season.

So, the month of June isn't even relevant.

her rationale for staying in the campaign are simply in the hope that she might somehow steal the nomination.

[Ford wasn’t elected and lost his election bid.]

The question was "... and how many VPs have gone on to become president lately??" Who said anything about being elected?

And the context of the question of why Hillary would want to be a VP is its electability.

And I took the question in that context, how many VP's went on to become President (got elected) because they had been VP's.

No, the MSM has said it is a virtual call for someone to murder Obama. From the NYT: “Still, the comments touched on one of the most sensitive aspects of the current presidential campaign — concern for Mr. Obama’s safety.”

The NYT isn't the entire MSM.

I know that the word assassination is the focal point of most of the outrage, but the essential issue is her desperation to find a reason to continue to run, as Gov. Paterson noted.

It was on her mind because she's playing all the cards and making a textbook case of it. She knows anything can happen and that's why she's still hanging on. Don't think she hasn't been hoping for something like that; if hope is all it is.

You know, you can lie so often, change accents and promises so often, that it all starts to blur and sometimes, just sometimes, something that you actually feel slips out as in this case. She's a lawyer and knows how to make a veiled threat or say something seemingly innocuous, but the deeper meaning is there and it goes to the very core of her dark, evil soul.

I think those who are so sure she’s making overt calls for an assissination are being silly. I think the problem people here are having is exactly what you expressed - blinded by deep rooted (and well placed) hate & fear of this woman they’ll believe anything said about her. “I cannot wait for her to be gone ...gone for good!” I used to say the same thing before learning about BO, who will be president if it’s not McCain. Between BO and Clinton, I’d choose Clinton as my poison.

I agree with your post. Hillary was blowing a silent dog whistle to one of her crazy fans to take him out. She just didn’t think that the media would make a big fuss over it.

I love the fact that Sharpton is sharply rebuking her for it. I love to see liberals fight each other.

If McCain had of said that, they would be demanding that he step down. They should demand that of Clinton.

I’m not suggesting it was a conscious effort. It was akin to a freudian slip that reveals her hopes to gain power by any means possible.

Dick Morris has often referenced the dirty group of people like Anthony Pellicano doing dirty work for the Clintons.

At best, Shrillary was highlighting her hopes, at worst she was revealing her dreams.

Her June analogy is not only inaccurate but a flat out falsehood.

The Secret Service’s job for Obama just got harder. Do you think Shrillary is losing any sleep over it after her non-apology?

Just a simple question....What kind (and how long) of a nationwide firestorm would we be in the middle of if Rush Limbaugh had said the exact same thing....?
