Everybody who has thought seriously about the Obama candidacy, including me and probably including the Senator himself, have reflected on the horrible possibility that he would be assassinated. One cannot think about Obama, the Kennedy-esque candidate without worrying about his safety.
But we all observe the discipline of not raising the issue in public. We all worry that to do so would be to encourage some maniac to take a shot.
Now Hillary has violated this unstated but heretofore universal taboo and brought up the possibility. That is not to say that she is hoping for a murder.
But it is to say that the possibility is uppermost in her mind and a significant part of her rationale for staying in the race.
And, by raising it, she has made it more possible.
Jim McDougal might have known as much as Morris, but of course, he's not on Earth any more.
Would Hillary actively promote the killing of Obama?
Who knows?
But remember the answer to that "murder" question is really another question; "Can you name ANYTHING Hillary would not do to become President?"
Whatever it takes....which is why I for one am not in the least yet convinced that Barack-O will end up the nominee.

I agree with you.It will be way worse than the post King assasination riots in 1968.And it will manifest itself in much anti-white hysteria,obviously way more aggravated if the assasin himself is white(not a sure thing).
Dick’s hatred of Hillary seems unequaled. This is something he should have kept to himself even if he believes it,he is piling on.
Fortunately I live in an area where there won't be any trouble. But if there is, I have the means and the will to defend myself and my loved ones.

I don't see it happening that way. That would have been a possibility if Hillary had been able to steal the nomination from him, but she's toast now. If he loses in November that's just the way the election goes.

I think he’s losing hope, but the Toe Sucker’s chief interest since he was booted out of the White House was to get back into the center of power. He has variously sucked up to Bush, the clintons, McCain, and now Obama, hoping they’ll take him on as a top adviser.
Not likely, after he betrayed both parties. But there’s always hope. No question that his “triangulation” strategy was one factor that put clinton over the top.
As for the likelihood that Obama might be assassinated, let’s not be silly. ANY presidential candidate is in danger from fruitcakes and terrorists. Obama had SS security early in the campaign? Hillary never relinquished her SS security. She’s had it for 16 years. And she got free use of Air Force 1, or was it Air Force 2, to campaign for the senate.
RFK was killed by an Islamist. That’s unlikely to be a problem for Obama.
If such a thing were to happen, I wouldn't be driving through certain neighborhoods. That's for damned sure. The National Guard would have to be called in to some areas of the country to back up the local police. Of course all of this is purely hypothetical, and scary to even think of.

But, IMO assassination is a hypothetical that will never happen.
Personally, I think assassination is sufficent but not necessary to ensure rioting. I believe that if Obama is denied (at either primary or general election stage), there will be riots.

Where is that list of people that have disappeared that were close to the Clintons and who has been held accountable for it? Nobody has been held accountable so what do the Clinton’s have to fear but fear itself?

The way I see it it could be a scenario that a lone wacko, a Hillary supporter sees this as Gods signal to act on his own, some people are visionary and I suspect the Clinton’s use that in their political aspirations with fruitful effects over the years. I think there is a good chance it will happen or attempt to happen, depends on how lucky the hit person gets, this may be a win-win for Hillary either way, some people would cross back over to Hillary if they honestly believed Obama has all the life’s expectancy of a cat in a cage of rabid wolves. Who would support a president if that person had a very public big X of a crosshair painted on him 24/7?
Many hate Bush but how many crazies are attempting to kill him? And Hillary is mean enough and smart enough to outwit and outlive any crazies coming after her, its like laws of the Old West here.

They're also interested in the White House back-up tapes of Foster's C: drive, sources say.

The way Hillary discussed it, so objectively and impersonally as though she were discussing variants of a chess endgame, demonstrates that Obama isn’t as much a person to her as he is an opponent.
I’m sure in her personal meetings, she’s analyzed the scenario in detail.
And she still didn’t cop much responsibility for the comment.
Her followup was odd. It should have been an “I should have had a V-8” forehead slap and complete retraction. But it wasn’t.
I think it does demonstrate though that that “healthcare for all” and “help the down trodden” rhetoric is merely a way of getting votes from the poor and lazy.
Maybe women in general are just too self-oriented and self-obsessed to be objective and run a country in most cases.
I’m inclined to think that’s the case. I lost a lot of respect for her in lieu of her ‘Obama ends race in the morgue’ scenario.

That is to say, however, that her and Bill's past is littered with bodies of people that were in their way or a threat to them that were stopped by a bullet. I have absolutely no difficulty in believing that in the Clinton's mindset, a bullet is the answer to any human obstacle!

I’m just an old, Southern, country woman - probably someone Bill and Hillary would label as “trailer park trash”; however, even I have sense enough to know that it is a political “no no” to even mention the possibility of a politial rival being assassinated. - Do I think Hillary didn’t know this? No.
They end the whole discussion by scolding "believers" of a body count because if there were anyone Bill Clinton would have rubbed off before they became household names, it would have been Linda Tripp and Monica Lewinsky. This is hardly true. Clinton had no idea Tripp would help bring him down. And like many foolish men, Clinton actually believed 20-something Monica when she said she had told no one about them!
The other huge premise for Snopes is that "anyone famous" will know so many people that a certain percentage of people in that circle will die in somewhat unusual ways.
I think that Juanita, Kathleen, and even Monica are fairly guileless and quite believable witnesses to abhorrent, illegal, immoral, deceptive patterns of behavior on the part of both Clintons -- of that era and even quite recently, as the break-in to steal her manuscript at Kathleen Willey's home was only last year.
Therefore extremely suspicious deaths for which the Clintons would have had clear selfish motives are not out of the realm of possibility as they might be for other famous people, such as Barbara Bush, Madonna, or Magic Johnson.
