Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton tried again yesterday to explain her reference last week to Robert F. Kennedy's assassination, while her campaign aides accused Sen. Barack Obama's advisers of taking the comment out of context and exploiting it.
In an interview in South Dakota on Friday, Clinton was discussing why she is still seeking her party's presidential nomination when she referred to the assassination of Kennedy -- then, like her, a senator from New York -- on June 5, 1968, as he celebrated his victory in the California primary. She used the June date to illustrate how long the Democratic race has gone on in past cycles, and she apologized after it caused an immediate furor. But yesterday she said the remarks had been misinterpreted.
"Almost immediately, some took my comments entirely out of context and interpreted them to mean something completely different -- and completely unthinkable," Clinton wrote in an article published in the New York Daily News, whose publisher, Mort Zuckerman, is a longtime friend of the Clintons.

Well, you know, Michelle, when have we ever heard, you know, of people routinely getting shot at gas stations simply taking care of their cars?
There was one series of shootings:
1. October 3, 2002: Fifty four year-old Premkumar Walekar was shot dead while pumping gasoline at a Mobil station.
2. October 3, 2002: Twenty five year-old Lori Ann Lewis-Rivera was shot dead while vacuuming her car at a Shell station.
3. October 9, 2002: Fifty three year-old Dean Harold Meyers was shot dead while pumping fuel at a Sunoco station.
4. October 11, 2002: Fifty three year-old Kenneth Bridges was shot dead while pumping fuel at an Exxon station
Of all the people that were killed simply attending to their cars at gas stations, Walekar (ninth in photo), Lewis-Rivera (fifth in photo), Meyers (seventh in photo) and Bridges (first in photo), only Bridges was black.
They were are killed deliberately killed by this man who happened to be black.
Other victims were killed in cold blood while mowing the grass or going food shopping or reading a book at a bus bench. The color of the victims he killed in cold blood ranged from white to mestizo to East Indian to black.
So, you know, Michelle, as far as I'm concerned, you know, you can take your "blacks against everybody else in America" racism and you can, you know, cram it up your tail pipe.

Hillary Clinton said it and that means she has thought about it as a viable reason. She is ghoulish and morbid and without conscienceness of her callous and icy remarks especially knowing that her opponent Obama, has had to have Secret Service protection earlier than most candidates have had to because of threats.
It is remarkable the woman can casually speak of such gruesome matters and has done so several times without even considering how her words hurt as they bring back the awful memories of the terrible insanity of that violent era.
Shame on you Hillary Clinton, this is not a reason to voice when there are so many other other reasons for you to say why you stay in the primary race.
