As usual, Carter missed the point. First of all, this isn't about who would "win" such a nuclear encounter -- both would lose. And since Israel is such a geographically small nation it wouldn't take much.
Secondly, and most importantly, the Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) deterrent doesn't work with folks who believe in stuff like returning 12th Imams and virgin rewards for killing infidels.
Conclusion: keep nukes as far away from Mohammedans as possible. (Yeah, I know the genie's already out of the bottle with Pakistan.....a mistake that will come back to bite us one day).

I am sorry but he easily offends me at every turn. Jimmy Carter is not only the worst U.S. President of the 20th Century he is also the worst former President ever. On that basis I will go out on a limb and say that he was the worst President of any nation at any time who was not executed by its citizens.
