There is an easy answer to the Gay Marriage issue.

Do not ban gay marriage but simply prohibit Divorce for both gay and heterosexual couples.

I wonder why they never refer to them as homosexual weddings.

Heh.

Nothing turns off the American public more than sight bytes of same sex couples getting married.

As politically incorrect as it might be, a heterosexual’s natural inclination is to find same sex couplings abhorrent.

The last time San Fran went nuts and Newsom showed bits of all those homosexual couples the Dems like to went nuts.

So this is not a bad thing. Wait until Americans, some 95% heterosexual, get a load of what’s coming down the pike.

Sometimes you gotta hit Joe Six Pick over the head with a sight byte.

I would venture to guess that if you were to tract the first 1000 gay weddings in California as well as a random selection of 1000 heterosexual marriages for five years that at the end of that period they divorce rate of the heterosexual couples would be higher than that of the homosexual couples.

Be sure to point out that this all will start on Flag Day and the day before Father’s Day. Really perk up Joe Six-Pack.

The homosexual community looks at the word “homosexual” as a clinical or scientific term describing sexual behavior. The word “gay” was taken over by the homosexual community because they wanted a term that would not just describe behavior. I’m sure the word “gay” worked for them because “gay” used to mean happy and carefree, which was an image they wanted to convey to the outside world.

Has anyone ever heard the word “gay” used in recent years in any other context besides homosexuality? Remember the words of the Flintstones song, that “we’ll have a gay old time”? If they were making that cartoon today, they would change the lyrics not to use “gay”. Same with “gay apparel” from “Deck The Halls”.

This is revolting. Thanks, I needed a reason to loose my appetite tonight and not eat dinner.

First California gay weddings may be on a Saturday

Monday may be first day for gays to file for divorce. Gays are not the only ones licking their lips at the prospect of gay marriage, I am sure divorce lawyers are licking their lips as well.

Massachusetts has had pervert marriages for some time. I haven’t noticed any such photos at FR. The old media knows how repellent the sight of affection between two men is. I hope I am wrong but doubt we’ll see widespread publication of Bruce kissing Steve at the altar.

The latest trend among the young set is “gay” as lame or dumb, ie, “that’s so gay.” Used in this context it doesn’t refer to sexual preference at all. The evolution of language is a funny thing.

It will not take much for the gays to maintain a divorce rate that is lower than that of straight couples.

I’m not going to argue about it. Only time will tell. Let’s see how long this particular couple stay married.

Well you could be right. My assertion would require that the media gets down there toot de sweet, take the pics and publish the things.

I remember the brouhaha when a bunch of gays snuck in under that small window before and got married. Of course the fine and personable Rosie O’Donnell helped with the publicity as I recall.

I also recall the Democratic party getting furious and demanded that Newsome shut down the display as it was giving Democrats a bad name.

Unfortunately, in the United States, marriage once a holy but now decaying institution with men in women jumping into marriage without the understanding of commitment to God and one another.

However, my marriage is still strong despite a high divorce rate and the introduction of gay marriage into the culture.

If one believes that their marriage is weakened due to gay marriage then there must be other issues within that marriage.
