Their understanding of ‘liberal’ is different from ours. For them, most if not all MSM are part of big business, which by definition is against working class people.

I know that the saying that Liberalism is a Mental Disease is supposed to be just a comic line, but I am seriously beginning to believe it is the unvarnished truth.

Never in my life - and I am an old great granny - have I seen such an identifiable divide between the sane and the insane. Liberals minds are hardwired backwards and upside down.

I keep hearing the echo of the Biblical phrase about the time that will come when the wheat is separated from the chaff.

The left is now so steeped in hatred that there is no room for any rational thought to seep through. They are truly a blight on the human stage

It's impossible to keep track of them all.

Rep. Patrick "Patches" Kennedy, (D), RI, was the most recent one that comes to mind. Tried to run over a Capitol cop, claiming "Ambien made him do it."

Of course, a few months earlier, in RI, he was in a traffic accident, pulling in front of an oncoming vehicle, in his haste to get a prescription refilled.

Yet, the voters keep rewarding such behavior, sending him back to DC.

Sounds like RFK Jr is back on the smack again. And to think that Skakil used *him* as a character witness during the sentencing phase of his murder trial.

The New York Times

THE PUBLIC EDITOR; Is The New York Times a Liberal Newspaper?

By DANIEL OKRENT
Published: July 25, 2004

OF course it is.

The fattest file on my hard drive is jammed with letters from the disappointed, the dismayed and the irate who find in this newspaper a liberal bias that infects not just political coverage but a range of issues from abortion to zoology to the appointment of an admitted Democrat to be its watchdog. (That would be me.) By contrast, readers who attack The Times from the left — and there are plenty — generally confine their complaints to the paper’s coverage of electoral politics and foreign policy.

I’ll get to the politics-and-policy issues this fall (I want to watch the campaign coverage before I conclude anything), but for now my concern is the flammable stuff that ignites the right. These are the social issues: gay rights, gun control, abortion and environmental regulation, among others. And if you think The Times plays it down the middle on any of them, you’ve been reading the paper with your eyes closed.

The public editor serves as the readers’ representative. His opinions and conclusions are his own.
