But this guy would have been from the same racist side of the Obama family tree as the grandmother he threw under the bus.

The Herald Sun’s headline is misleading. Obama is as good a liar as Hillary.

Did I saw WWII? I meant to say the Korean War and an Uncle's buddy was at the 4077th MASH unit! Whats that? That was a TV show? I meant to say that he was at Ding Bang and he was a double secret Green beret and he jumped out of FB-1170s over Trin Bong and used his ALICE pack to glide into Trang Dang Lang. His code name was Agent Orange!

WE have acultural misunderstanding.
In Australia, the term “doing a Hitlery/BJ/Pelosi/whoever” means replicating that person’s actions.

I was wondering the same thing... which side of the family did this famous uncle come from... The White grandmothers. or the father in Kenya?

Heh, heh.
For some reason this reminds me of an episode of a sitcom called "The Office" wherein the dorky, obnoxious character named Dwight is defending his family's honor in response to some slight aimed at it by his nemesis, Jim.
Dwight looks into the camera and says, "My grandfather was a World War II hero. He fought bravely until he was captured and spent the rest of the war in an Allied prisoner-of-war camp."
I do get a kick out of that show. Now that I think of it, this whole campaign seems like one big sitcom. But the funniest writers in Hollyweird couldn't possibly come up with some of this stuff.
God's favorite show must be "The Earth".

If he had joined FR's Military History ping list, he would have learned enough from fellow FReepers to avoid such glaring and stupid errors.

Obama sees dead people. Is he casting for “Sixth Sense - II?”
His family kept a crazy uncle in the attic. Who else is in their closets?
He doesn’t listen to his Reverend’s sermons.
His wife - well...
He flip-flops like John Kerry on a hot griddle.
His Weather Underground friends are not the only ones who bombed.
What next, “The US attacked Japan on Dec. 7, 1942?”
“Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go thru life”.
To: Aussie Dasher
These gaffes should not be made "issues."
The issue seems to me to be that Obama, given his friends and associates, has never sat around swapping stories of family military service and benefits from the American dream.
He's an ideologue. His condemnation of ne'er-do-well American bigots clinging to Bibles and guns, his condemnation of our consumption, his condemnation of the effects of military service -- these are the stuff of Obama. These are the issues. IMO.
I want his people to do some 'splainin' about these issues.
