Wow...I wonder why the “full faith and credit” clause in the Constitution applies to queers who want to bugger each other (which ISN’T in the Constitution), but it doesn’t apply to my RIGHT to keep (own, possess) and bear (carry, tote, hoist, schlep) a firearm where and how I choose (which IS in the Constitution)...

California was a different case. The law of the state prohibited discrimination against homosexuals and the “ballot initiative” (which should have all the power of an internet poll in our republican form of government) was in conflict with existing law. The only way Cali voters can get around this would be 1. repeal the law against discrimination and/or 2. pass a state constitutional amendment defining marriage.
