More evidence of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

No, no one ever makes fun of Republican gaffes, right? Every night, Letterman has a segment where he shows George Bush stumbling over his words.

Dan Quayle will never live down the “potato” scandal. Wowee, he reads a flash card that says “potatoe” and he is pounded mercilessly for 20 years.

Poor, poor Democrats. They lie like crazy, and when they get caught by fact-checkers, they squeal like stuck pigs.

If the Democrat’s careless comment is insufficiently damaging, the GOP and/or the media will “improve” it. Case in point: It wasn’t bad enough that Michelle Obama said that for the first time in her adult life, she was “really proud of my country.” That word “really” softens the impact.

Yes, it certainly does, which is why she added it in her second presentation.

So out with it! In this video clip of a Tennessee GOP ad, the word has clearly been deleted.

Liar! A deletion of a word would have caused a jump in the frames and could be easily deminstrated, had it been done.

Here is the unedited remark.

Translation: Here's the second speech with the really inserted by MO.

If a Republican or (so-called) “conservative” makes a gaffe, as they do almost daily, their “misspeak” is usually politely ignored.

Potatoe, we wouldn't have all these problems if Strom Thurmond had been president, but the media is desirous to see a black quarterback succeed, so read my lips, no new taxes.

Revisionist history. He’d rather defend his party talking points than seek out the truth of the situation.

They are just being “picked on unfairly”.
