Today: hard frost in the garden. All deciduous in the yard is wilted. This is the second hard frost this week. Used to be we were past the danger of frost by 15 May.I live in west central Georgia. For the last ten years, daily highs have been in the mid-to-upper 90s by this time of year. This year? We've only had ONE 90+ day so far.

Last summer was also a total loss as far as the garden is concerned. Too cold. Even the spruce didn’t cone and the squirrels have been nibbling spruce needles all winter. It’s not a happy trend if it keeps up.
