Everything is a crisis to these mongers. I’ll consider this to be “Americas Oil Crisis” when we can’t get gas.

A typical stunt of liberals. Again, without any consideration of “cause and effect”. Typical of liberals who have no contact or concern with the impact of their mindless actions. The libs need all of the disasters and crises they can muster right now — it is essential to their strategy.

They get off on controlling people regardless what the cause or the implications. The whole objectives is exercising control over others because they know what's best.

And what's amazing is that having given the Democrats, those who are responsible for this fiasco, partial control of the reigns, this nation is about to give them the entire team.

Barnum was right. I believe that we as a nation are about to prove Darwin right too.

I get so tired of the ‘oil addiction’ phrase that everyone has seemingly bought into. We are not addicted. In fact, most addictions are only learned behaviors, as though once you have learned something, you can’t learn something else.

We use oil, purposefully. We are not abusing oil. In fact, the rest of the world is becoming capable of using oil. It is not an addiction, it is energy that increases our standard of living and provides for happiness.

If one is an addict because one wants to be warm or not starve, then I submit we are all addicts and there is no reason to label it as such.

I contacted my U.S. Senator about the upcoming carbon tax credit bill. I received a reply thanking me and assuring me he had met with all facets of his constituency. Everything he said was premised on what must be done to stop “man made climate change”. Bull crap.

I agree. "Addiction" is overused.

I am addicted to water.

They started me on some stuff just after I was born, and it had water in it.

It is in everything.

No one, and I mean no one has successfully kicked the habit.

The withdrawal symptoms are horrible.

Is this a sign of a giant conspiracy?

Is Big Water behind all this?

Enquiring minds want to know...(/sarc)

We use oil because it is the most convenient and useable fuel. There is a reason we don't use wood fired boilers pulling trains or horse drawn wagons and streetcars. Oil works.

There is also a reason solar powered and solar charged electric "cars" (most I've seen are about the size of a bicycle and require the ONE occupant to be about 100 pounds).

If it isn't solar charged, it isn't off fossil fuel since coal and natural gas are primarily what is used to make electricity.

So WHY is every liberal RAT I know complaining about high gas prices?

Answer.... Because they want it both ways.
