Robert Gibbs, Obama's campaign communications director said Obama had resigned from the church "over the last few days."

Put a fork in Obama. He's done when it comes to the presidential election, unless "goody two shoes McCain" wants to continue giving Obama, the white man America hater, a pass.
Remember when he said this just a couple of months ago:

Actually, I have been thinking about it since last night and have come to the conclusion it is the other way around.

Very interesting. Let's crunch some numbers, shall we? Let's say -- for the sake of discussion -- that every American tax-paying family pays $10,000.00 a year in taxes. OK?
So this means that 10 tax-paying American families go to work everyday, toil day in and day out, for an entire year, to make money that provides Pleger with his $100.000.00 earmark.
“parish” is not exactly the word to use with a “stand alone” church.
And this is an oxymoron.

This is the point that needs to be emphasized. Barry played that speech with such apparent sincerity that the entire left was calling the greatest speech since "I have a dream". Now Barry has acknowledged through his actions that it was complete, utter 100% BS.
Obama and his merry band of bigots are going to lose in November. The Dems have definitely given up the high moral ground this election. They always start out with it because they tend to complain about social problems. Now, they represent a social problem: anti-white bigotry.

Obama is essentially saying that he has officially quit the Ku Klux Klan but that his "mentors" are the current KKK Grand Wizard, the current leader of Storm Front and David Duke.

That was my take as well. He's been hoping that this would die off, and eventually seeking a way out, for months.
