The Teflon candidate, Barack Hussein Obama, has resigned from his church following the latest scandal involving another preacher delivering racially charged comments. In this case, it was a guest speaker, a Roman Catholic priest, no less. Controversies surrounding the church have created persistent distractions to his campaign, so say his staffers.
The problem is, this means nothing. It never has. The Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Reverend Otis Moss and now Rev. Michael Pfleger, whose videotaped guest sermon at the church Sunday showed him taunting Hillary Clinton and saying she felt “entitled” to the presidency because she’s white would have decimated the campaign of any white candidate had they uttered such inflammatory words.
But because Obama is who he is, and because his supporters are bound and determined to propel him into the White House at any expense, this latest issue involving his church will go nowhere.
Yes, he quit the church as a symbolic gesture to distance himself from this Black Liberation Theology. But if people don't understand by now that spending twenty-plus years in an environment of black racial hatred rubs off on an individual, that being married and having your children baptized there will affect the very nature of your being, then they never will. Nor do they care to understand it.
Guilt by association will not damage the Obama campaign, even though it should cripple it. Barring a scandal involving Obama himself or his wife, in which either of them are seen saying some of the things his preacher friends have been recorded saying, Obama will sail his way though this thing.
It is rumored that the GOP has such a recording of Michelle Obama railing against White America at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.
Damn I hope it's true.

Let’s be honest. Hussein is a hypocrite that was just using that so-called church to further his political ambitions.

First of all, I completely disagree with the premise of this article, Obama’s association with Trinity et al will hurt him badly in the general in key battleground States (VA, MI, OH, PA, CO, NM, NH, WS, IO and MO). But, this is third or fourth time I’ve read a quote like above (Rush said the GOP has the tape), I really hope it’s true.

I think the Trinity Church will be to Obama what a haircut was to Edwards. He will not be able to go anywhere without this following him. He message will be drowned out. I hope he doesn’t implode until after getting the nomination. I want Hillary to beaten in a way that Bill loses his mind publicly.
The press loved to derisively use Bush’s middle initial as a nickname - “Dubya.” I think Obama deserves a nickname based on his middle initial, too, -

The guy went from senator to presidentail candidate practically overnight and because he ran a stealth campaign of “hope and change” the public knows almost nothing about him; except one thing—he was part of a church full of racebaitinbg looney tunes for 20 years.
The big objection I have is the fact that there appears to be two sets of rules when it comes to race baiting.
Geraldine Ferraro was raked over the coals because she made virtually the same argument about BHO, claiming he wouldn’t be where he is except for the fact that he’s black...what a bunch of hypocrits. All democrats feel entitled or victimized daily.

Except for the likelihood that America’s streets would become increasingly violent, and especially as black on white crime is concerned, it would be fun to watch what would happen were Hillary able to wrest the nomination from Obama.

Rush did not say that they HAD the tape. He said there are rumors of a tape and that someone may release it later in the election cycle.
It is also possible that she has been observed making such remarks there (there were people who went to do background research on Obama in his political climb and knew quite well firsthand what his church was saying) BUT no recording was made.
If you “think” someone got you on tape, it can be just as big a motivator in covering your tracks as if they actually did.
Remember the days of Harry S. Truman (I wasn’t there but I’ve read about them)...
It was always said that the S. stood for nothing.
Looks like Obama stands for nothing (that he can admit to).
Or how about Barack H. Obama. The H stands for ‘redacted’.

Where I see this really hurting the Obamao is not among the General Electorate per se, but when the TUCC is combined with the Obamao’s support for Gay Marriage and the repeal of “Don’t ask, Don’t Tell” and his support of Infanticide, Evangelical voters will be mobilized even for an inferior candidate for their issues in Mad Jon McCain.
Wright and the Menagerie will underline a huge bright line between everyday Christians and the Obamao, that will lead to a large negative turnout against the Obamao.
I fear that this tape will be like all of the smoking gun evidence that people had on the Clintons all these year. More smoke than gun.

I always find it interesting that everyone describes Obama as “black.” He is as much “white” as he is “black.”
Only the MSM and other fawning, mindless Barry Hussein supporters believe his preacher problems are meaningless or behind him. The public is far more willing to forgive fooling around with hookers or smoking dope than having a spiritual advisor who yells Goddamn America. Chris Matthews will still vote for Barry Hussein, but 60% plus of other whites will not.

A day late and a dollar short just won’t do the job. He is what he is.
He left the church after being publically embarrassed- he had to be shamed into it; he hangs around with terrorists, and is married to a bigger racist than ANY of the “reverends”.
I’m afraid you are correct. The mainstream media is so smitten with Obama that they will give him a pass on the latest from Trinity as they have done in the past with Wright’s statements. When he made his speech on race basically defending Wright and criticizing his poor Grandma (before he threw Wright under the bus along with Grandma later), the press was all over themselves with what a great speech on race he had made.
Now he’s thrown the church under the bus and they will again make excuses for him.
I suggest if there is a ‘Whitey’ tape whoever has it better hold it until a day before the election...so the press doesn’t have time to spin it to Obama’s advantage.
My husband finds it offensive that he only calls himself black when in truth he is biracial. My children call themselves biracial or brown.
