Two birds swooped down 30 years ago in Illinois. One grabbed a kid and took him about 10 feet before dropping him. This apparently has happened before. One report goes back to 1866, another in 1936. They called them “Super Eagles.”

They interviewed the kid on the History Channel.
Once again, the cryptobiology conundrum : if one exists, that one must have parents and probably some kind of stable population. One can go undetected, but a population of them cannot.
I was slightly convinced it could be real, but if C2C covered it, that makes the likelihood that it is real much less.

Wow! I hadn’t heard that story in nearly 50 years. Old timers used to tell that story to little kids to tease them.

For some reason I get the feeling someone is going to post a pic of a bunny with a pancake on its head.

reminds me of the original “The In-Laws”: which was on HBO today...Peter Falk telling the family of the ‘giant flies’ carrying away a baby in Guatemala.... lol

Now, see? There’s always a logical explanation.

Yep, the truth is always out there. Ya just gotta be brave enough to go find it.

Tell you what, one of my private versions of hell is to be George Noory and have to listen politely to some of the truly outlandish stuff some of his guests talk about every night of your life! I mean the guy is great; a relentlessly genial host, his franchise is massive, in an urban area you will find his broadcast on at least 3 stations if you traverse the full AM band, but I’m just glad it’s him and not me having to listen to this stuff!

That was a story we read in school 50 years ago.
Here in California we do have Condors with wingspands of about 13 feet.

Looney Tunes radio. Sometimes coming back from the lake I’ll turn on the last 1/2 hr, but my wife tells me to turn it off, it’s creeping her out.
