My brain hurts too.

I thought they were of the party where EVERYONE is a winner.

I think you are right. The superdelegates are also concerned with the local and state elections in which heavy Black turnout is vital to getting their Congresscritters back in office, etc. The Presidency is nice, but their own continuance in power is their first priority.

Good for you. I have never liked Hillery and I disagree with her on many things but this whole process has been abhorant to me. The states obama won were before people were allowed access to who his "friends" were. If voters had known then what they know now obama would have been delegated to the neither regions of obscurity long ago. People know now he is a empty suited racist....nothing more or less.

The DNC has shown itself to be the spineless jellyfish they are by disregarding common sense and clinging to Obama in the hope of not alienating a racist 12% of the population. Reality is a bitch...they have disenfranchised at least half their base, many of who wont be coming back btw. They have also set race relations back at least 25 years in the process, and they say clinton has a scorched earth policy.

The Florida voters got screwed. And that should not have happened. It’s a pity there aren’t some stiff fines and a little jail time to hand out to the higher ups and legislators who caused that.

The Dem party can pick a guy out of a hat if they want to, they don't even have to have a primary. Now if it was the general election, that would be a different story.

While the Democrats in the news media breathlessly await “the first black to be nominated for President”, Obama is getting his legs knocked out from underneath him.

“Bill O. is hammering weasel Scotty McClellan.”

During the Civil War there was a General McClellan who liked to parade around in his uniform and put on a big front, but would not actually confront the Confederates, but rather kept asking Pres. Lincoln for more and more troops; and STILL wouldn’t go on the offense, and Lincoln finally had to fire him......and could not find a Commanding General who would actually take the battle to the enemy until he got to General Grant.

I wonder if pansy-ass Scotty McClellan may trace his genetics back to that General Pansy-ass McClellan?

Has Obama won a primary since the Rev Wright story broke?

Actually the voters didn’t break any rules so why should they be punished? The rules committee should find a way to hold the decision makers responsibile.

I wonder if they are resigned to losing the White House in order to keep the black vote on the plantation in the future?

I have been thinking the same thing for some time now. I think there is a real fear in current democrat office holders right now that if Obama loses the nomination black voters will take it out on them in the fall.

Yes, I think he won North Carolina after it broke. But I think he’s running behind there now to McCain.

Isn't it true that in the states west of the Mississippi that Obama won, he won them BEFORE the country saw Jeremiah Bullfrog? Except Oregon, which is full of granola eating kooks anyway, at least among those who register as Democrats.

Montana and South Dakota could be the very first test of Obama's viability outside states with substantial black populations, in the post Rev. Wright era. If the Beest can carry them by large margins, after Barry O was expected to win them handily only a month ago, look for Hillary to make the uncommitted delegates sweat even harder!

Those are all valid and great points. Obama’s domination in Western States is PRE-WRIGHT and Oregon is truly unrepresentative State. They have assisted sucide legal for crying out loud.

He is truly toast. He is limping across the line.

If Hildabeast had not burned her bridge with African American community and had not gone off the deep end, and had she tried to be a bit more positive and continue to fight for Black Vote, Superdelegates could have found the courage to give it to her.

However, both Clintons are victims of their own “scorch earth” tactics.

They decided long time ago, right before SC that they are going to try to marginalize Obama as Sharpton-Jackson type candidate. They would have succeeded if the Wright had hit the fan before Super Tuesday.

Dems are toast as far as WH is concerned. They would clean up everywhere else.

Entirely possible, I think.

In the event the Obama is the nominee and does indeed lose the general election, the Republican party (and all Republicans) will be branded as racists and hate mongers 24/7 for years, not days or weeks. By the media as well as the Dems. Bet on it.

This election will be about nothing but race.

No kidding.

It's actually pretty disgusting if you think about the twisted sense of reality that Dean and Obama live in.

Heaven help us all if they get into the White House.

I live in Florida and moving the primary date was well publized. I heard little or no complaints from dems back then. In fact, it passed, with the support of dem legislators.

If anyone is to blame, it is the Florida voters who elected these dummies in the first place.

And, don’t forget, Repub voters were penalized with half of our delegates taken away. You don’t hear us whining and crying.

When will the MSM talking heads say something substantial about the fact that Democrat voters will choose Hillary if they have a "confidential" vote, and that they only choose the radical candidate of colour when their vote is a public spectacle?

When will the MSM recognize that the majority of voting Democrats have "mainstream" American values, and are not at all like the America-hating radicals that are flocking to Barack Hussein Obama?

The Democrat party poohbahs want Barack, and they will get Barack, as their presidential candidate; but I truly do no believe there are enough Democrats willing to vote for a racist, America-hating radical for the Democrats to win this one. And that's the good news, I guess.

The bad news is that we'll end up with the maverick John McCain as our new president.

God Help us.

Please.

There's no way she could salvage herself with African-Americans, unless he dropped out for a reason even they could understand, and the only thing I could think of in that category is if there is photographic evidence of him doing half the stuff that this Larry Sinclair guy has been ranting about.

But--she knows that Ronald Reagan, and both Bushes were elected without black support. She might just decide to toss them over the side, and pretend that she can get enough votes to be elected from the middle. Are urbanite Democrats really going to vote for McCain? She knows they're not, they will either not vote that part of the ticket, or will blow their vote on a variety of third-party candidates.

I think she's still got a number of strategies that make her a winner. And a couple of them are targeted at 2012. She didn't piddle away mega-millions of bucks this time for nothing! Mitt Romney has money to burn compared to the Clintons, they wouldn't part with a dollar that they didn't think they could get a buck fifty on somewhere down the line.
