We’re getting the campaign tag line: “That’s not change we can believe in.”

Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska.

Not gonna happen.

Her latest child was recently born with Down’s Syndrome. She knows there no way she can be a proper mom to her little one and be Veep as well.

I wouldn’t mind her, but the chances are so slim as to be negligible.

I doubt it. I doubt the citizens of the 9th ward in NO have even heard of a Rennai. LOL. I bet McCain will get us taxpayers to buy them one.

We surfed by and listened to about one minute of McCain’s speech.

His tone is so condescending, I couldn’t stand it so we’re back on Law & Order.

Thanks for the thread, will watch from here..

I sterilized glass bottles and boiled water for my two oldest when they were babies. Not delivered, we had water you could boil the gook out of, don’t know about way back and on the gulf though.

Romney is smart, competent and has a track record of success.
That means many people here will hate him for his religion.

I like Romney. No one is perfect but he impresses.

Are you all sitting here wondering...how did we end up with this man as our nominee? I mean really. He’s dreadful on so many levels.

Did he even READ this speech before tonight?

I’ll be voting absentee as well, and that sounds likes a d*mn good idea...

Maybe we need a drunken absentee voting for Mac thread when it gets close to election time.

I think his dentures are slipping. It’s either that or he’s been drinking a bit as his words seem to be slurring and......that’s not change we can believe in. UGH, I’m already tired of hearing that one.

But there are pragmatic reasons for picking Romney.

1. At the end, he brought a lot of conservatives aboard his Cino train.

2. He’s filthy rich.

3. He’s got a nationwide organization and workers ready at the drop of a hat.

4. He could well put Michigan in McCain’s column.

I don’t like the Cino part, but I’m not doing the picking. Who else has the assets that Romney has?

Don't hold your breath, I doubt he'd say anything.

BTW, when he (McCain) was contesting the California primary he was telling illegals he was supporting them, and then at the same time phoning conservatives in Orange County that he would close the border and be tough on illegal immigration.......Talk about Grrrrrrrrrrr!

***I'm waiting for him to touch on illegal immigration...grrrr.***
