Clinton does not concede
The Boston Globe ^ | 6/3/08 | Foon Rhee

Posted on 06/03/2008 7:04:50 PM PDT by mdittmar

Hillary Clinton, projected to win South Dakota's primary but unable to keep Barack Obama from clinching the Democratic nomination, congratulated Obama tonight for the inspiring race he has run and said she was "committed to uniting our party,"

"This has been a long campaign and I will be making no decisions tonight," she said, provoking wild cheers from supporters.

"He stopped the Clinton's in their tracks, saved America from these insufferable sociopaths. For that alone I will always be thankful."

You have no idea, do you? Obama is worse, much worse.

“Someone noted last week that she can claim the popular vote, but O’Bomba claims the delegates.”

I am sure the Democrats will invent some more people in Michigan to prevent that from happening.

Indeed it was an article posted here on FR last week. Most people commented on other aspects of the article, but there was the interesting factoid that Hillary had the popular vote count.

After all the crap and gaffes hes got by with, what ever is on that tape will just slide right off him. His supporters don’t care what Michelle says. Heck, most of them will agree with her.
That's true to a certain extent and with a certain group of people, but on the other hand, a friend of mine whose wife is a raging liberal (not a raging leftist, but a raging liberal) and who has tons of raging liberal friends says that he (who is a conservative) is amazed at the anti-Obama stuff he's hearing from his wife and her friends and the stuff he's seeing in his wife's emails, the stuff they're passing around, all these raging liberals, about how scary Obama is with all his anti-White racist associations.

I think some of that stuff already has stuck and it's not going to come unstuck and if there is a tape (which I doubt) it's only going to make more people stick to their doubts about Obama and if there is no tape (which I believe) there will still be plenty of smaller things building up, like barnacles on the hull of an old boat, that will make it harder and harder for many liberals, even raging liberals, to vote for this heavily racist anti-American. No matter what the lying leftist commie scumbag press says.

Guess what? We know you hate Limbaugh.

I certainly don't hate him, I find him very entertaining.

It just disgusts me the way some folks bow down and praise his every word as gospel.

He's just a radio actor after all.

“Quite frustrated, I’m sure”

I think it’s worse than that. I feel almost sorry for Bill because he’ll have to live with her and all the fury she must be experiencing.

I can’t see her quitting. She wants it too badly. I’m soooo looking forward to that bomb!

"...he's going to be more or less a puppet of a wide variety of shady Democrat characters."

Completely agree with you. Those same back room dealers are also likely responsible for orchestrating the demise of the Clintons. though I am still not certain that that is actually the case.

We shall see.

“Bob Novak told us almost a year ago that the Clinton camp was sitting on something devestating,”

- he used drugs? Nope, that didnt work.
- he is a member of an afrocentrist church with a farrakhan-lovin’ racist anti-American pastor? been there done that.
- he has a terrorist friend? Got that Ayers story out there, a blip.
- he is an empty suit? Yeah, know that already.
- his campaign is plagiarized from Axelrod’s Deval Patrick campaign, even down to the same themes and phrases?
Tried that, and it boomeranged!
- He a corrupt chicago pol who pulled strings for friends? Yawns from the media.

I cnat imagine what it would take to amount to ‘devastating’ when the above is enough to end multiple political careers pronto.
The man could have been a Soviet planted spy who killed people for sport and the Obama-loving media would call it a ‘youthful indiscretion’ and claim ‘racism’ was the motivation for bringing it up.

Maybe, just maybe , it will awaken people up to realize that this is a CONSEQUENCE of raging liberalism and they need to drop their ideology if they want to keep their common sense.

The point still holds. Obama is still even with McCain in the polls, still, with all this.

McCain has his problems, first and foremost being his only base was the media and that was only long enough to see him nominated and now they’re going to dump on him like he’s a cross between Richard M. Nixon, George W. Bush and Ferdinand Marcos.

But as for the polls, at this point in time. I think they are absolutely 100% meaningless and worthless.

In campaign years, we’re about three centuries away from the general election.

I agree 100%. I have been trying to get my hubby to sell our house in town and buy some land way back in the sticks so we can raise our own food and hopefully lay low for a few years.

Bill won’t be with Hillary for long if/when she doesn’t get the nomination—she was only with him to get to the WH again, and he’s only with her out of desparation . . . hDe’s soooo torn betw. his need to be a jerk with the ladies (who are not his wife), and his need for attention, he doesn’t know WHAT to do!

Devil on his left shoulder: “Follow your head . . . sabatoge the presidency for Hil!”

Devil on his right shoulder: “Follow your heart—’support’ her and get back into the WH with the interns!”

Rush kept saying the Clinton camp would have already dumped any of the stuff they had .. but I didn’t totally agree.

Then .. I hear about this possible tape of Michelle .. and VIOLA! the lights blinked. If Hillary has possession of such a tape .. would she use it as leverage to get on the Obama ticket ..?? INTIMIDATION and BRIBERY .. that’s the Clinton’s style.

I remember thinking much the same thing during the DEM’s 2004 convention and little-known Barack Obama getting up there and giving the “best” speech of the convention.
