Something's Different in Camp Clinton-Tonight, no TV's, cell phones and blackberries don't work

ABC News' Kate Snow Reports: As news of Sen. Barack Obama's, D-Ill., triumph in the Democratic nomination battle travels across the nation, camp Clinton isn't hearing any of it.

Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., is holding her election night event at New York Baruch College Athletic & Recreation Center in New York -- the first time the candidate has not been in a contested or about to be contested state during the entire primary process.

Other than the fact that we are 2 stories below ground in a cinderblock no-frills gym on Manhattan's Lower East Side, there are also NO televisions.

There have been large screen TV's at every one of Clinton's election night events. Her supporters watch the results come in, they cheer when they're shown on screen.

Tonight, no TV's, cell phones and blackberries don't work down here...no contact with the outside world. People in here cannot see the ongoing countdown clocks on the cable channels. They didn't know when Obama has crossed the threshold.

Obama can't talk himself a record. The news people are all just a gush again, but it didn't make my leg shake. He seemed really hurt that big bad John McCain doesn't give him enough credit for his extensive record of...ah, talking about stuff a whole lot. Obama may actually be more thin skinned than I thought, I think he overreached on the McCain bashing. John appears to be getting under his skin already.

I’m no Obama supporter but if he takes her as VP he should have his head examined, make sure his life insurance is paid up,and admit his administration will be eclipsed by her and Bubba. And maybe just give her the Presidency and settle for VP himself....

I keep hearing it is being held by the Republicans and find that assertion difficult to believe, because the timing of it only benefits Hillary. The repubs would/should wait until Nov to release a damaging tape of Michelle (if that is what he’s refering to).
