Oh. please... when does experience matter in politics? Look at the alternative. Do you want to win this or listen to President Obama for 8 years?

Oh, so Tom Selleck is our only hope, eh? Okay.

Well, looks like our next commander in chief is going to be President B.H Obama.
Heaven forbid, we would elect McCain, because then we wouldn’t be proving our point, as Conservatives.
Hope we have a country left after Obama’s tenure as president, but by darn, at least we didn’t put a middle of the road Republican in office.
If it wasn’t so sad, it would be hilarious. Reminds me of the old saying, cutting off your nose to spite your face.

What kind of nonsense is this ? You want a radical Marxist like Obama to destroy America ? Even Rush has stated that Obama would destroy this country . Obama is a Marxist and plans to shut us all up including you.

"Texas gov. Rick Perry - I don’t know why I haven’t even heard that he is on the short list. "

Maybe JM has ambitions of winning Texas? If hairdo is the VP, forget Texas!

Elvira, Mistress of the Night! And she’s younger than McCain, too.

I agree; Romney could help McCain a great deal.
McCain/Romney, yeah, that would be good.

I don’t think a sitting governor looking at an easy 2nd term victory (like Crist) is gonna be too quick to jump ship to sail as #2 on the SS McCain, a vessel who’s seaworthiness is yet to be proven.

He lied about protecting our borders. He isn’t interesting in doing anything about it — sort of like the President.

He continues to push for the Super Highway from Mexico through Texas — although when he was campaigning, he lied like a dog. He knows Texans don’t want it — but he wants it anyway.

He was very ,very strongly in favor of Texas passing a law requiring teenage girls get vacinated against sexually transmitted diseases, even without parents’ approval. This was really a money-maker for the drug company which owns the drug. He didn’t get his way with this one — YET. He is still working on it.

These are 3 reasons I don’t like his leadership. He disregards the people’s wishes and goes his own way.

Really, I watched McCain’t tonight on FoxNews from Louisianna, and I am appaled.

It was, indeed, one of the more pathetic performances I've ever seen. The continual Bush-bashing, the snarky tone, the maniacal grin, and the overly repeated "that's not change we can believe in" line ... the whole thing made me want to puke.

I noticed the camera never once panned the "crowd" which I doubt much exceeded 100 ... based on the uproarious lack of applause. The occasional calls of "John McCain ... John McCain" sounded like they came from the same three guys standing just off camera.

We're doomed.

It better be someone that the base of the party can rally around because it’s pretty clear that they ain’t rallying ‘round the RINO.
