WASHINGTON (CNN) — Sen. Barack Obama directly addressed accusations that have been circulating by e-mail when he addressed a pro-Israel conference Wednesday.
"I want to say that I know some provocative e-mails have been circulating throughout Jewish communities across the country," the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee said at AIPAC's annual conference.
"They're filled with tall tales and dire warnings about a certain candidate for president. And all I want to say is — let me know if you see this guy named Barack Obama, because he sounds pretty scary."
Rumors have been circulating at least since last year that Obama is a Muslim and does not support the Jewish state. He is a Christian and said at the conference he is a "true friend of Israel," earning applause.

Yes, I saw it. Seemed irrefutable to me. The man appeared on TV, his name was displayed and he mentioned specific groups where Obama had appeared. What especially lent the air of believability to me was his statement that Obama had become just another politician now kowtowing to the Jewish elite. But yes, Obama had been identifying his allegiances to the Palestinians until he jumped into national prominence. I think this reveals where his true heart and allegiance really is.
There was a lone anti-Obama protester outside this conference yesterday. Turns out he is actually a Hillary organizer - who now plans to vote for McCain (he called in to WMAL this morning)

About a year ago I watched a documentary about how al quaeda trains their insurgents and they stressed that their ultimate goal was to take the White House. All I can think of is how they have cells that have infiltrated our country to the point where everyday citizens have lived next door to them and were fooled by them after it was discovered they were one of the terrorists involved in 911. But what way would they ever be able to take the White House? It would have to be in such a way that no one would suspect it. For all we know, seriously, he is one of them...his ideology surely fits the profile. I just do not trust him and have a very bad feeling about him and it is not JUST his inexperience but all the other stuff that keeps being uncovered and I am concerned how our fellow citizens are being so duped. We need to wake them up.

Watched the speech. I thought for sure Obama would get only polite applause, but the audience reacted enthusiastically to him. Amd when he condemned Bush`s policies, the audience also gave him enthusiastic applause. Looks like he has the Jewish vote locked up.
Obama will get >70% of Jewish vote. He may come close to 79% Gore got in 2000. This was always a given.
Next step - blue-collar, union vote. By July he will have that in his pocket as well.

I really resent this. Obama’s inauthenticity and questions about his religion have been discussed in all sorts of venues, here, pro-Hillary blogs, radio, etc. To limit it to Jewish people trading e-mails sounds, well, in the vein of anti-semitic conspiratorialism. I want credit too!
