Preparing the possible next OBAMA's trip in IRAK

Posted on 06/05/2008 10:30:14 AM PDT by Ulysse

I heard that OBAMA the new historical candidate for POTUS would surprisingly come in IRAK where he will certainly speak soft words to soldiers after having dispised their hard job all along the primaries as he spoke to the moonbats and raghead "pacifist" crowds...

I would like to know if a wellcoming comity is planned. I think that the Messiah OBAMA deserve a huge wellcome

I think he will get a huge welcome from the Iranian soldiers serving in Iraq.

I'd like to be part of the welcoming committee.

I'll need a bushel or two of those tainted tomatoes that have been recalled....

If I gave my opinion on what he deserves, I would be banned.

Oops - before anybody leaps down the poster's throat, the words "committee" and "comity" are two different things!

Obama will be given a polite welcome whether as a candidate or as (God forbid!) Commander in Chief. How the troops actually feel will be kept more or less private as it was with the Clintons. It turns out that the troops are more dignified and professional than the politicians in front of them.

I am not all that sure that is the case since Obama leads all candidates in contributions from members of the military,

This is all part of Obama’s pretend move to the center to fool the voters.

Really? You think he’ll be greeted as a conquering hero? We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one. Time will tell.

I am not sure how he will be greeted but it seems that he has received the most contributions from the members of our military.

Your statistic refers to “military workers,” not members of the military. But you knew that...

“I am not sure how he will be greeted but it seems that he has received the most contributions from the members of our military.”

I think that article about the most donations is very misleading. It includes people who are not actually in the military (i.e., government bureaucrats). Furthermore, how many people who are actually in the military do you think have donated to any candidate? My bet is that it is a very low number of people and not reflective of anything.

The amount at the time the article was written was around 28k which is very low but that fact that he has received the most money is surprising and troubling.

I don't think Obama knows zip about "war" in general and with his background....

He has his own personal agenda and it's frightening.

Has he ever mentioned 9-11? Going into Afghanistan...

“The amount at the time the article was written was around 28k which is very low but that fact that he has received the most money is surprising and troubling.”

I would bet dollars to doughnuts that the people who gave that money were mostly non-military Washington bureaucrats (or workers as that article calls them) who have more in common with the government union and thus the democrats than the military.

Just like Hilda was upstaged in Afghanistan by Bush's visit to Iraq, I would love to see the CIC make a surprise visit to steal BHO's thunder.

I wonder too if we would get a picture of a solider displaying a "centralized digit of disapproval" like we did with the Hilda-monster.....

Obama, who has never served in the military, has brought in more contributions from uniformed service members—about $27,000—than any other presidential hopeful, Democrat or Republican.

“He has his own personal agenda and it's frightening.”

Obama has bought into the radical left ideology (including the anti-war pacifist ideology) hook, line and sinker. He does not deviate from the radical left ideology on ANY issue. Why do you think he was blessed by Senator Kennedy as the candidate? Why do you think he has surrounded himself with radical leftist throughout his life and has the most liberal voting record of any senator? Therefore to understand what he believes is to just look at radical anti-war leftist ideology. His agenda is very easy to understand, but he will try to fool the voters and hide what he really believes.

Thanks for the source. The vast majority will not vote for Obama. I voted for Nixon over McGovern when I was in Vietnam in 1972.

My guess is that McCain will win 65% to 70% of the military vote but that will be a smaller margin than what Bush won over Gore and Kerry.

Obama’s active duty military support will shrink between now and Nov. 4.

Interesting how that article you linked keeps using the term "military workers." That term includes anyone who draws a paycheck from one of the armed services, in any capacity, such as the guy quoted,Exum, who "works for the Army as a congressional liaison."

When they break it down into active duty enlisted servicemen and women, maybe it will mean something.
