Were back, and the first item for business is Joseph demanding an apology for yesterdays scaredy-pants outburst, which he says is causing his client stress.
It seems he is going to call Habib, but first wants to introduce yet another piece of last-minute evidence, from yet another blog post this one from the California-based Free Republic site which is yet again operated from somewhere in that vast section of the universe that is outside the jurisdiction of the tribunal. McConchie is raising objections, probably futilely.

Free Speech dull thud...
Aussies, Canucks, Brits and their cultural surrender... And, judging from the Moslem yoots car-burning reactions, France may actually be resisting their immigrant insurgents a bit. The Anglos, tho? Bet an Islamic Napolean could invade today’s Britain with little opposition.
Steyn ping
While surfing FR to find intemperate speech, will the HRC surf muslim sites for comparison?
Its not hard to find intemperate speech at FR, though they do place some limits. Go too far and you’ll get bounced.
And it would not be hard to find muslim sites where they are sawing off people’s heads. Not sure what you’d have to do on one of those sites to get kicked off.
I highly doubt it....it would probably be considered a hate crime!
jihadunspun.org
So I don’t get it. I heard Mark Steyn just talking with Hugh Hewitt about how Free Republic was part of this mix, but I don’t understand how. If people say things that are construed as anti-arab terrorist then it’s on Mark Steyn?
Canada Free Speech Ping.
That is odd...
I hope the court records include a link to the offending thread.
I’m pretty sure you mean jihadunspun.net. The .org domain is occupied by a cybersquatter.
Supposedly one of my posts was cited. I merely said that the Muslims will get us one way or the other. I meant we can have our heads still on our bodies and surrender, or they will take our heads. If my post was so offensive, it would have been removed. Frankly, we need to fight back on US soil as well as abroad, or else we get this BS.
Frankly, I do not care if the Canadians like the truth or not. Too damn bad.
By the way, when you do visit jihadunspun.net, scroll way down to the articles:

Rights And Rules
What would Americas founding fathers think about President Bushs assertion that he has inherent power, his wrongful in invasion of Iraq and the eroding rights of US citizens?
By Former US Vice President Al Gore
I was reading the Macleans blog a short while and saw this. One was someone’s tagline. Pretty tacky and not helpful to Macleans or Steyn.
Although this whole case is ridiculous anyway. They are bringing in stuff that is actually completely irrelevant to the case itself. I never heard of Mark Steyn until I’d been studying Islam for a couple of years. I didn’t need him to tell me what to think. All I needed to do was read the Qur’an, ahadiths, and look at what historians had to say about Muhammad. It took only a few days of this for me to reach the same conclusions about Islam and my opinion has gone downhill from there. Canadian Muslims don’t need to force Macleans to publish them “to be fair.” There are thousands of Muslims bloggers.
Apparently. And Macleans is responsible for everyone in the entire world's response to what Mark Steyn writes. So by this logic shouldn't Jodie Foster have been brought up on charges for a certain assassination attempt?
The defense should get some samples of what was posted before Steyn wrote a word, LOL.
“If people say things that are construed as anti-arab terrorist then its on Mark Steyn?”
According to the Muslims, yes. Because of Steyn’s notoriety, he is supposed to have an adverse effect on people, leading them to think things about Muslims that, according to the Muslims, aren’t true. (Even if they are).
I completely agree with this statement. Blanket statements against certain people groups or calls for violence against them do not win anyone to our side. Of course I'm all for un-PC statements against an ideaology or specific enemy - i.e islamofascism or terrorists.
But this whole thought crime tribunal thing is surreal. I shudder to think that kangaroo courts like this will soon make their way to the states....
And every Muslim Sheikh, Imam, etc. who ever utters a word that is taken as inspiration by some jihadist anywhere, never mind any foul quotation that is ever repeated anywhere, must be held accountable. Will this ridiculous Canadian “Human Rights Commission” like to start policing all Muslim speech?
Oh, no, it’s always a one-way street with the cultural left — they have an agenda and they’re sticking to it.
FR taglines, indeed FR posts, should have Nothing to do with Macleans or Steyn. FR is a United States Website under United States law. Bringing FR posts into a Canadian Trial is a shyster move.
More on the concept of Islamic Humiliation:
These morons are bringing in everything - even The Brussels Journal and Michelle Malkin.
Geez, these days I don't seem able to step out of the house without committing a hate crime
MARK STEYN | June 4, 2008 |
Did Steyn call them TOWELHEADS or something?? What did he do?
Hey Muslims, we do not need Steyn to incite total disgust at your religion for the murder of over 3000 people by a massacre on 9/11, US Cole, and all the other atrocities you have inflicted on innocent US citizens.
Muslims remind me of liberals. Blame anyone other than yourselves. For those that did not participate, well you rarely speak out against Muslim extremism. You are known by the company that you keep.
Honestly, I read his book and I don't remember him saying anything at all disrespectful of Islam. Occasionally cheeky, perhaps, but not particularly disrespectful. The jist of it is that Europe is dying. The West is dying, demographically, it is not reproducing, because it has essentially lost its soul. Its fate is to be muslim, because it can't find the energy to reproduce itself.
And, the statistics to back that up are eye-opening. Only the US is reproducing itself. The others are dying. They'll be gone in a couple of decades. There will still be an Italy, but it won't be very Italian. There will still be a place called Russia, but it will be muslim, because they haven't the faith and courage and will to reproduce.
As he says, the future belongs to those who show up for it. If you're never born, you won't be showing up.
[Start] What is the muslim eradicating DDT equivalent? (A reply: Chemically--Pig blood. Spiritually--Jesus Christ.) . . .
I will die before I have that filthy fraud of a religion forced on me . . .
the mentality of the Islamites is more primitive than that of a rabid ameba . . .
stop referring to Islam as a religion of peace because it is far from it . . .
(Expects Islamist attacks) Got my 30-06 zeroed to 300 yards. (a few comments about ammo followed) . . .
if there is another terror attack, you can bet your bottom dollar that alot of muslims will be made to feel... "unwelcome". And you can also bet that there will be a few less mosques in AMerica . . .
Well aimed, precisely delivered neutron bombs. Several dozen of them. Let the world howl. Get rid of the population, keep the oil production systems. . . .
[End]
Islamists have no respect for free speech -- except perhaps when it's them rioting, killing, maiming and going after the "infidels". Oooops. Another actionable FR comment. Anyone know how to use the erase function? Do they make white-out for pixels?

You’ve nailed it. I can’t wait until the Tribunal goes after human rights violations by Muslim posters/columnists in Canada.
That argument is baloney! The basic opinion of FR posters toward Muslims was formed long before Steyn’s article. That
opinion was influenced by 9/11 and every act of bestial terrorism perpetrated by Muslims since.
The Islamic God, Allah can kiss my ass and my pig. If he doesn’t like it he can take it up with my God in the afterlife.
The Islamofascists are bringing hate onto themselves. I hope the execution of the 9-11 conspirators is carried out by drowning in pig blood. Oh, come and get me canadian hrc tyrants.
What was the thread?
Thank you for the ping, Anti-Bubba182.
You are Welcome!
Too easy.
Post something the Judge wrote and we'll all go nuts with "hate" over it.
He'll see "controlling reactions" isn't as easy as it looks.
No, we can hate Moslims without Mark Steyn telling us to...
Cutting off heads and constantly threating us is what causes Moslim hate.
That’s going to be tough to come from a god that was created as a figment of Mohammad’s imagination in order to unite nomadic tribes for his own power hungry reasons.
I’ll gladly go on record that I’ve proudly been part of a Muslim backlash long before I ever heard of Mark Steyn.
Canada——fully infected these days.

Fr. Alphonse de Valk, a Basilian priest and pro-life activist known throughout Canada for his orthodoxy, is currently being investigated by the Canadian Human Rights Commission (CHRC) a quasi-judicial investigative body with the power of the Canadian government behind it. The CHRC is using section 13 of Canadas Human Rights Act to investigate the priest. This is a section under which no defendant has ever won once the allegation has gone to tribunal the next stage of the process.
