For moonbats, global warming trumps local groping
By Howie Carr | Sunday, June 8, 2008 | http://www.bostonherald.com
How did a degenerate like Jim Marzilli ever get elected to any office, even one as inconsequential as Massachusetts state senator?
The answer is simple: We live in a democracy. The people get what they deserve. How do you like it now, moonbats of Arlington?
As it turns out, some seem to like it just fine. Many would still vote for the groper. And if you want to know just how loony the moonbat left has become in Massachusetts, you should check out their Web sites. Heres a typical Arlington moonbat named Eric:
I want to explain something to conservatives who are lamenting a double standard or lack of outrage over Marzillis alleged actions. As a liberal I try to save my moral outrage for the big issues. . . . If a politician is cheating on his wife, or running amock (sic) grabbing at women, it just seems so petty in comparison.
Unless of course youre the groped woman. Now that the lewd dude is in the loony bin, his PC fellow travelers are disappointed by his possible successors.
A few platitudes, Nate wrote of their campaign literature, nothing on very important issues like global warming. Just wondering, but when does the state Senate vote on the Kyoto protocols? But if you post a comment like that, the moonbats go crazy. Just calling them moonbats, by the way, is hate speech. As far as the moonbats are concerned, even the word downfall is out of bounds.
Downfall is a pretty strong and hurtful word, one wrote, for a dedicated public servant who has fallen ill. Fallen ill? He dresses up like a bum, makes obscene comments to woman after woman and tries to grab them. Some illness. But back to global warming.
In my neighborhood, someone named Adam wrote, where there is already significant flooding, climate change is a local issue.
Buy a sump pump and shut up.
Not everybody in Arlington is a trust-funded, prescription-medicated, 50-year-old mitten-knitter. After Marzilli was admitted to the loony bin, one woman wrote, If you are going to send him any type of card, dip into your Monopoly game and reach for the Go to Jail card. Thats where he belongs.
You can imagine the flaming she got. She was accused of every moonbat crime except saying Merry Christmas instead of Happy Winter Solstice.
Heres a message from Rosina: I wish Jim Marzilli and his family only the best.
Not one word about his victims.
Whatever may be the exact issue of where this is all coming from, how it developed, etc. etc. is really none of anyones business.
The problem isnt just Arlington. Marzillis case would have gone up before the Senate Ethics Committee, which most recently dealt - or should I say, didnt deal with - Sen. Dianne Wilkerson of Roxbury. She was briefly sentenced to a halfway house, which was a step up from her two predecessors, both of whom did time in prison.
Then theres Lowell, the scene of Marzillis final gropings. The Mill City had a run where two of its three senators went to the can. One of them, Paul Sheehy, was actually elected after he was paroled from Danbury.
Last week, I was checking the record of the Dukakis judge who cut Sen. Groper loose on $1,500 bail. His name is Neil Let em Walk Walker. On a list of the witnesses for Let em Walk Walker at his 1985 judicial confirmation hearing is none other than the aforementioned felon, Paul Sheehy.
So having Marzilli appear before him was not the judges first brush with a bent solon. I called the judicial spokesman to find out if jailbird Sheehy had indeed appeared on behalf of Let em Walk Walker.
No comment, was the reply.
Sen. Marzilli, just keep your case in front of Let em Walk Walker and youll be back in the Senate in no time, voting against those proposed harsher penalties for sexual predators. And your moonbat constituents will be cheering you on.

Monday show ping
Howie’s show goes off at 5:30 on WRKO on Tue and Thu due to a change in the time of the Red Sox games. Normally the game
would begin at 7 pm/pregame at 6:30 but Red Sox are moving it back to 6 pm...because the Celtics have 9 pm Finals games
those nights. See below.
Tue June 10 & Thu June 12:
—Goes off WRKO at 5:30 pm Tune to WCRN which at least will
carry the 5:30-6 pm segment. Then THEY have to go to the Sox
game. Online streaming is poss., as are other stations
that carry Howie beyond 6 pm.
From Red Sox MLB:
BOSTON - ...So it’s fitting as the Celtics move their series back to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Thursday that the Sox are remaining committed to making their own games overlap as little as possible. Boston announced Monday that its Tuesday and Thursday tilts with the Baltimore Orioles have been shifted to begin one hour earlier than scheduled, both beginning at 6:05 p.m. ET.
The NBA Finals games held on those nights will begin at 9 p.m. ET in Los Angeles.
It’s the same time-shift that the Sox initiated in their series finale with Tampa Bay on Thursday, which originally overlapped with Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Both the Red Sox’s and Celtics’ games were played in Boston that night, making it conceivable that fans could make it to both games if they had tickets to do so.
So is 'RKO looking to be a sports station or a talk station or is it planning to starve like that donkey or whatever in Aesop's fables who couldn't decide which bale of hay eat?
Does Howie Carr not know that Jeff Beatty is running on the GOP side for Senator Kerry’s seat? Howie keeps saying that nobody is running on the GOP side for this U.S. Senate seat while also having Kerry’s Democratic Primary opponent, Ed O’Reilly, on his show! What’s going on?
He may not be aware (if he is, he’s ignoring him). Maybe
some of Jeff’s supporters will contact Howie, etc. Those
registered as “Unenrolled” could vote for O’Reilly (take a
Dem ballot) in the primary if they wish (to give Kerry
a scare?) but Beatty does indeed exist on the final
ballot (he’s unopposed in the GOP primary due to
Ogonowski falling short of nomination signatures)
Afraid so. Technically they’re the flagship of the Red
Sox network though weekday _afternoon_ games and Wed.
night games run on WEEI instead. (You may recall in 2007
Howie’s show got pre-empted quite a bit by Red Sox
spring training). We have had to put up with the last half
hour of Howie’s show being taken off WRKO because they have
to run the Sox pre-game (but not on Wednesdays). WCRN
wasn’t carrying the pre-game so they’re presented as an
But now these two games have been pushed back an hour
because the Sox don’t want a conflict with the Celtics.
(Celts will air on WEEI, but the Sox want THEIR game
over by 9, etc.)
Keep in mind:
—WRKO program director Jason Wolfe also runs WEEI
and is quite familiar with sports and no doubt
wants them on WRKO, too
—many talk stations find that after 7 pm there isn’t
as much of an audience for talk, so they run sports
instead and try to pick up THAT audience.
Savage does OK on WRKO but Sox do even better (ratings).
As it is, they run Savage on tape delay after the game.
And so we’re stuck with the flagship station of the Howie
network having to pre-empt him for the Sox!
Jeff Beatty should get some equal time on the show. I truly don’t see any reasons for Howie Carr to really hate Jeff Beatty because Jeff is a very conservative Republican running for Kerry’s seat.
Tue ping. Reminder above about WRKO going to Sox pregame
at 5:30, and WCRN exits at 6 for Sox. This will happen
again on Thu; due to Red Sox games being pushed back what with
Celts starting at 9
I forgot that WCRN was carrying Celtics game but not Red
Sox, so he was on WCRN till 7 pm

Thanks to rival, Kerry set for summer among commoners
By Howie Carr | Wednesday, June 11, 2008 | http://www.bostonherald.com
This is John Forbes Kerrys worst nightmare: Hes going to have to spend the summer campaigning . . . on the mainland.
Fall River, Chicopee, Haverhill, Lynn, Fitchburg - not a single one of those sweaty cities has any windsurfing worth a damn, not to mention a Ducati motorcycle dealer, damn, but Liveshot is going to spend the next three months pressing the flesh in those wretched burgs, searching in vain for a proper nouvelle cuisine brassiere while enduring the foul breath of the plebeians . . .
Stand by, Sen. Kerry, for an endless schedule of kielbasa festivals, parades, motorcycle rallies, town concerts, fireworks displays, questionnaires from special-interest groups and maybe even, gulp, a televised debate or two. Kerrys already had to endure a Celtics [team stats] playoff game. Instead of the Inn at Wauwinet, this summer Kerry will be dining at Coney Island Hot Dog in Worcester. Next thing you know, some beer-guzzling peasant in a No. 12 Patriots jersey is going to be asking him about . . . baseball.
Lovey, does Manny Ortiz still play for the Red Sox ?
And Liveshot knows who is responsible for this living hell that he now must endure all the way to the primary Sept. 16. It is Ed OReilly. The Gloucester lawyer will be on the ballot against him in the Democratic primary.
Ed OReilly. How dare this Hibernian parvenu dare to run against John F. Kerry, Americas Gigolo? How dare 22.8 percent of the delegates to the state convention vote for this, this . . . arriviste?
That phrase in the first paragraph, on the mainland, that comes from OReilly. He used it when I was talking to him the other night. Hes got Kerrys number all right. Hes a bit of a moonbat, I suppose, but when you get somebody whos running against Liveshot whos willing to play the class card, I can overlook a lot.
He knows how to push the buttons that will drive Kerry crazy, which is what is going to wreck Liveshots summer. There wont be much time for Kerry on the Let It Be, just because OReilly wouldnt let it be. Why, OReilly is even ready to talk about Naushon Island, the personal preserve of the Forbes family.
He always says he was raised on the Cape, OReilly says. Yeah, he was raised on this island, which if you or I take a little skiff across the water and try to land on that island, people are going to come out onto the beach and tell us were trespassing.
OReilly says, about five weeks ago, he was leaving a Democratic meeting at the Hudson Portuguese Club when he ran into his opponent arriving. Here is his recollection of the conversation:
OReilly: I guess well be seeing a lot of each other.
Kerry: Not for long, I hope.
Sorry, Liveshot, you lose!
The bottom line is, hes arrogant, OReilly says. The rules dont apply to him. He announces, theres a thousand-dollar minimum to attend, if you want to go to the private reception its $2,300. Do you know how many people I talk to who say the only place theyve ever seen him is at the airport? . . . He flies down to Bali to give a speech on global warming - how many gallons of fuel do you think that used, just so he could say he delivered a speech?
Im sure OReilly is nowhere in the polls right now, but this is a perfect opportunity for mischief - this could become a Massachusetts version of Operation Chaos, the meddling of local Republicans in a Democratic primary, the way Rush Limbaugh tried to keep Hillary Clinton alive through April and May.
John Kerry, OReilly continued, will go whichever way the wind blows for his own political advantage.
I propose a series of 10 pre-primary debates, the first one to be held on, where else, Naushon Island.

Howie gives him credit for “Manny Ortiz” when he clearly said “Or-TEZ”
Liveshot is a fool.

The list of adjectives to describe this moron is endless, endless I tell ya! John gigilo kerry, the gift that just keeps on giving.....it's gonna be a very entertaining summer here in MA and I'm sure mamaT will make appearances here and there, ah yes, memories of elections past are flooding back! I wonder how the gin and raisins are doing.....
He served in Viet Nam dontcha know!
Then I'll vote Republican, of course, in the general!
for Ingraham fans; kind of like the situation with Howie
last year (benched by her employer, only in Laura’s case
I don’t know if she can be forced back on against her will)
IMPORTANT NOTE TO LAURA INGRAHAM SHOW LISTENERS
Reports are circulating in the press that I “took a leave of absence” or walked out on my radio show. As I wrote in this space earlier this week, that is false. The decision to remove the Laura Ingraham Show from the airwaves was made unilaterally by Talk Radio Network as a tactic in contract negotiations, against my will and over my protest. Additionally, any notion that I am leaving radio is also completely false. After all my years on the air, you know that I would never voluntarily abandon you during such a critical time for our country. Power to the People.
Howie is so right, though.
His idea of a great summer is to spend the entire time windsurfing and making the rounds among the island elites.
Now he’s got to run a campaign in the Democrat primary, and hopefully a longer and more involved one in the general election.
Awww -- I was counting on him not making it to the general election . . . ;-)
Yeah, poor baby actually has to DO something to show he deserves his seat...poor poor johnny, can’t have fun this summer he has to work, poor baby.....heeeheeeheeee!
Sandy and Happy should root out the “I drink your *milkshake*!!” quote from “There Will Be Blood” and pop it off every time someone talks about Chinese oil rigs in Cuban waters off the Florida coast.
Apparently, the “milkshake” line originally came from congressional testimony during the Teapot Dome oil scandal in the Warren Harding(?) administration.
Thu ping. Due to Celics game, Red Sox game pushed back to
6 pm. Thus WRKO goes to Sox pregame at 5:30 but you can
still listen on WCRN—once again tonight WCRN will
NOT carry Sox game but will carry Celts SO...WCRN has
Howie till 7. AM 830.
Vote for Howie! Details at http://www.wrko.com

The gang from Fox and Friends
Judge gives boozed-up driver an easy ride
By Howie Carr | Friday, June 13, 2008 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Columnists
Three-time convicted drunk driver C.W. Tolbert Jr. is darned lucky he commits his crimes in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts, where in the halls of justice the only justice is in the halls.
Because in some states, this bum might have been looking at some serious prison time after he got drunk as a skunk last year and ran over an on-duty firefighter in Milton, leaving the jake in a coma for months, without a pulse for almost half an hour and minus 80 percent of his blood. Both of Antonio Pickens legs were broken and he almost lost his right arm. Hes still recovering.
In a sane society, there would have been hell to pay for the tosspot Tolbert.
Luckily for Tolbert, though, he doesnt live in a sane society, he lives in Massachusetts. And so he drew as his judge one of the Beautiful People - Janet Sanders, daughter of a liberal Texas Congressman named Barefoot Sanders who worked as a White House aide to LBJ.
The district attorney of Norfolk County, Bill Keating, asked that Tolbert be sentenced to five-to-seven years in state prison. At sentencing Tuesday, the silver-spoon judge disagreed. Running over somebody while drunk, for the third time, why, its just one those things, just one of those crazy things.
It was thoughtlessness, the judge said. Carelessness, she added.
But a prison sentence? No, better that Mr. Tolbert remain in the House of Correction, she ruled. Three years in jail, instead of seven in prison. You might say the congressmans privileged daughter threw the book at Tolbert - a comic book.
This is one crackpot judge you cant blame on Mike Dukakis, who appointed the bleeding heart who cut alleged groper Sen. Jim Marzilli loose on $1,500 bail last week. Barefoots daughter picked up both her black robes from Republican governors.
But in an amazing coincidence, the judge is married to one Charles DeWitt, which happens to be the name of a Massport hack in the Dukakis era. A call was placed to the judicial spokesman inquiring whether the judge is in fact married to Chip DeWitt of Dukakis infamy.
The call was not returned.
When Sanders was first nominated for a district-court judgeship, back in 1994 by GOP Gov. Bill Weld, she listed her husband Charles DeWitt, as making contributions to, among others, the Mass. Democratic Committee, Dollars for Democrats, Ted Kennedy, Clinton for President, Jim Brett (the Bulger candidate for mayor in 1993) and future Democratic candidates for governor Shannon OBrien, Tom Birmingham and Mark Roosevelt.
When applying for a judgeship, after all, it never hurts to have yourself or your spouse listed as an early contributor to the governor, who appoints judges. At the very least, it cant hurt, and if you dont believe me, just ask Margot Botsford of the SJC.
Another thing you need when you go before the Governors Council for your confirmation hearing - witnesses. Among those testifying on behalf of the congressmans daughter was Gerry Leone, then an assistant DA in Middlesex. Leone is now the elected DA who recently decided not to prosecute the Prius-driving perv Sen. Marzilli after he was lugged for groping the first woman in Arlington. Leones decision to broom the earlier case gave Sen. Grope-zilla the opportunity to take his sick act on the road to Lowell. Sanders and Leone, birds of a feather flocking together.
In 2001, another nationwide search commenced. Janet Sanders was elevated to the Superior Court by none other than Jane Swift.
Back to the triple drunken-driver Tolbert, who is now living large at the Dedham House of Correction. According to the Milton PD incident report, he was so loaded he didnt even know hed hit anybody.
He knew his windshield (was) smashed in. He thought someone had thrown something at his car so he pulled over. . . I asked Tolbert if he ever saw the victim crossing the street or on the side of the road and he stated no.
How thoughtless of Tolbert to be that drunk and behind the wheel. How careless - and for the third time at that.
Then he stated he had 3 or 4 beers at his mothers house in Boston. Heinekens. In the trunk they found another Heineken. In the back seat, covered by a coat, was a 16-ounce can of Olde English Malt Liquor. The cop asked him to count from 80 to 65 backward - Tolbert skipped numbers 67 and 66. Once he reached 65 he continued counting till 60.
The cops then called Tolberts girlfriend, who owned the car hed used to mow down Antonio Pickens.
She stated something to the effect of he had too much to drink and I thought he was going to sleep it off out in the car.
Too bad more of our governors dont take that advice when theyre appointing judges.
The next time any governor wants to hand out the lifetime welfare package that is a judgeship to some crackpot-entitled limousine liberal whose spouse has been throwing around campaign contributions, the governor should just go out to the car - the Caddy - and sleep it off.

show ping, also Randi Goldklank has left Ch 7 and her
case has been continued without a finding
Under an agreement reached in East Boston District Court this morning, the general manager of Channel 7 has to apologize to the Logan International Airport state police troopers and airline employees she offended during an ugly episode that led to her high-profile arrest and ultimately her resignation.
I have decided to resign my position at WHDH/WLVI to continue to focus on getting healthy, said Randi Goldklank, 40, said in a statement her attorney read just minutes after she put the charges behind her.
At some point, she wants to return to broadcasting work, according to the statement.
Goldklank, 40, who carried a Coach bag and wore a sharp gray business suit and high-heeled brown leather sandals to court, admitted to facts sufficient for a finding of guilty on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest stemming from an April 20 incident aboard a Delta flight. A charge of assault and battery on a police officer was dismissed.
Her case was continued without a finding for one year, during which time she must abstain from alcohol and non-prescription drugs and enter and a complete substance abuse treatment program, according to court documents. She was ordered to apologize to state police and Delta employees and pay restitution for breaking State Trooper Gray Hodgdons glasses during her arrest.
A police report stated that during the incident, she broke the troopers glasses and screamed, Do you know who the (expletive) I am? The police report also indicated that Goldklank reeked of booze and that troopers believed her to be drunk.
Following her arrest, Goldklank was put on administrative leave and sought medical treatment.
In a statement issued this morning, Channel 7 owner Ed Ansin said: This has been an unfortunate circumstance. Randi Goldklank is a talented executive. We wish her great success.
Goldklanks attorney, David Eisenstadt, made a brief statement after the court hearing.
This was a very unfortunate incident. My client accepts complete responsiblity for her actions, Eisenstadt told reporters.
If Goldklank meets the courts conditions for one year, she will have no conviction on her record.
Goldklank declined comment as she left.
Former Channel 7 general manager Mike Carson, the acting GM since Goldklank was put on leave, didnt immediately return a call requesting comment.
State police spokesman Dave Procopio declined to comment on Goldklanks apology, but said troopers assigned to the airport acted with the highest level of professionalism that night.
We just do our job. Whether we get an apology or not, the troopers will be at the airport day in and day out protecting the public and keeping the peace, he said.
Jessica Heslam contributed to this report.
Ah, Massachusetts -- where even the "Republicans" are Democrats! (This is the type of thing that makes me an Independent -- oops! Unenrolled!)
You're an arrogant, obnoxious, pompous a$$, I'm guessing giving up the 36 drinks in one session might be a start....then....several people skills courses maybe in order..........
for those who haven’t heard Tim Russert has died of a heart attack at 58
Hannity said he gave a big contribution to the Freedom
Concert but didn’t want his name acknowledged...
Howie just said Russert was recording voice overs for
Sunday’s show when he collapsed RIP
I noticed Howie just did the bare bones announcement right before the break. But it occurs to me -- isn't Howie just about the same age?
Howie is 56, a couple years younger than Russert. Howie is
10 years and one month older than me: I was born in Feb 62,
Howie in Jan of ‘52.
Close enough so Howie wouldn’t find it a joking matter!
