Clinton campaign: Obama camp engaged in "voter suppression, intimidation and harassment"
Hosted at CNN.NET ^ | 01/28/08 | Hillary Clinton for President

[The following is an optical character recognition transcription of the PDF file]

the Committee wishes to bring to your attention information we have received evidencing a premeditated and predesigned plan by the Obama campaign to engage in systematic corruption of the Party’s caucus procedures. Compounding this blatant distortion of the caucus rules was an egregious effort by the Obama campaign to manipulate the voter registration process in its own favor, thereby disenfranchising countless voters. Finally, the Committee has received a vast number of reliable reports of voter suppression and intimidation by the Obama campaign or its allies.

...Senator Clinton and the Committee are wholly committed to ensuring that every eligible voter has his or her vote cast and counted. There is no place in the American electoral process for the types of voter suppression, intimidation and harassment systematically engaged in by the Obama campaign, its allies and supporters.

There are optical character recognition transcriptions of the PDF file online (e.g. http://husaria.wordpress.com/2008/06/07/clinton-campaign-alleges-voter-suppression-and-intimidation-by-obama-campaign/). The reason more people didn't see it in January is that the original is not keyword searchable.

This could demolish Obama's candidacy.

Hillary Clinton endorsed Obama because she would probably have been kicked out of the Democratic Party had she not done so. They are in fact angry that she waited several days to do so. The accusation her camp filed against Obama can now be used as her REAL "endorsement."

Many of Hillary Clinton's voters feel cheated and angry. They are angry that the media downplayed her victories (e.g. calling her blowout of Obama in WV "largely symbolic") while portraying Obama as the Second Coming of Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, and Tenth Avatar of Vishnu all rolled into one. The cited document alleges, in essence, that Obama effectively stole the Nevada Caucuses with Chicago-type machine politics and even worse. This could be enough to demolish any cosmetic Clinton-Obama lovefest while encouraging Clinton's voters to either not vote, or even become McCain Democrats.

It won't cost Obama any votes if it stays here at Free Republic. Take it to your Web sites, blogs, and letters to the editor!

Geez, let the chaos continue. This Democrat campaign is the best reality TV show out there. And maybe it’s not over yet.

Is anyone a DU member? It would be interesting to see their response to this.

Freepers: This will CERTAINLY get shoved down the memory hole and burried, with no MSM coverage, unless it is widely diseminated RIGHT AWAY!

On that topic, anyone know the legal ramifications if a bunch of freepers download copies of the PDF so that it cannot be burried?

I’m sure it’s all true, but Hillary is really one to play the babe-in-the-woods act. Remember Vince Foster? She’s on the campaign trail and O.J. is on the golf course looking for the “real killer”.

Worth repeating: “Freepers: This will CERTAINLY get shoved down the memory hole and burried, with no MSM coverage, unless it is widely diseminated RIGHT AWAY!”

It might be worth downloading the PDF file from CNN.NET, although Obama may have more trouble “disappearing” it than he had in “disappearing” endorsements from Wright and Pfleger. I have screen shots of those, by the way.

“I’m sure it’s all true, but Hillary is really one to play the babe-in-the-woods act.”

You are missing the point. It is no longer about Hillary but about Barack Hussein.

Hillary won the popular vote. Obama and his younger thugs used intimidation at the caucuses. They basically stole the nomination from Hillary.

The media helped him steal the nomination.

I don’t think CNN owns the letter itself.

This is where the original link came from.

This is what we must make clear to Hillary Clinton's supporters. Obama and the media stole the primary from "their girl." They should thank Obama and the media by voting for McCain.

James Taranto in the Opinion Journal did an excellent analysis on the "Hillary as VP" scenario last week (wednesday) and concludes that no matter what happens in Nov. (or before) Hillary benefits by being the VP candidate.

You might want to read that and see if what he says makes sense.

The clinton scumbags complaining about the obama scumbags outcheating them? Man, that has got to hurt.

So is this the first time in history that the African Americans have been accused of ‘voter suppression’ in America. Usually the claim is made the other way round.

I don’t know (or care). To me this is a matter of democrats arguing about who is the bigger/better cheater in a party of traditional cheaters and experts on how to perpetrate election theft.

That article was from January 28th. We are 6 months later why would it have any significance now? She conceded.

Exactly! He’ll miss the votes of the bitter gun-owners, bitter white folks that cling to the Bible, and the bitter women.

Re: " That article was from January 28th. We are 6 months later why would it have any significance now? She conceded. "

This is why our party loses elections--people don't understand the significance of issues that will destroy the other side. This sort of thinking is why Rick Santorum is no longer a Senator--his campaign repeatedly blew opportunities to show the connection between Casey and MoveOn.org.

The Clinton campaign (as opposed to "those nasty Republicans") made credible, and serious, allegations to the effect that Obama stole the Nevada caucuses. Since these caucuses gave him the momentum with which to carry other states, he effectively stole the nomination. This will further enrage Clintonites who already think "their girl" was robbed. If they stay home as a result, or even better vote for McCain, it will cost Obama the election.

Welcome to the wonderful world of media bias. All of you Clinton toadies road the wave of media approval all through the 90's, and now you know how it feels to be on the other side of it.
