I think it’s some sort of buggy hookup to carry a child.
To: TornadoAlley3
That bike is extremely short. I’m 5’4” and I owned a bike with a larger frame than that. What a weenie
If you want to ride, get something with a frame that can take a beating, and knobby tires.

Like what’s pictured in post #12? ;o)
The Illinois senator and his wife, Michelle, rode to a neighbor’s house with their daughters, Malia and Sasha, on Sunday. Then the group headed out for the ride along the scenic lake shore. But the outing was cut short by a downpour.

Kid: Hey! Is that Urkel riding that bike?
To: TornadoAlley3
He better be careful being out in public, “as a black man he can get shot for just going to the gas station” according to Michelle the racist.

Senator Obama demostrates the opertion of the Obamacycle: the vehicle that the peasants, er, citizens will be allowed to own under his administration. This model is only for the Party faithful.

I think its some sort of buggy hookup to carry a child. It's to use in case you're punished with a child.
To: Cementjungle
It’s for a little carriage to bring children around in.

One of his kids must be on the little attached-bike-thing, but it’s cropped out of the photo.
Was it cropped to make Obama look goofier, or less goofy, or to keep his kids “out of the limelight”?

That’s just great.
Bush is hiding, being utterly silent about $4 gas.
McCain is hiding, being utterly silent about $4 gas.
Nobody on our side, has even acknowledged that most Americans are darn mad, and looking for some sort of leadership on this.
So Obama rides a bike. And looks like some sort of hero.
GET WITH IT BUSH.
And pardon those two Border Agents.

You’d think the campaign would take pains to get these staged photo opts more realistic. The bike is too small for him and it appears the rear tire is in need of air.

Yes, I was thinking that he looks like he has hardly ridden a bike before - maybe the trailer that is cropped out of the photo is really serving the purpose of a set of “training wheels” that little kids use at first - I’ve never towed one of those kiddie trailers but I imagine that they provide a lot of stability to the rear half of the bike?
President Bush should invite Obama to the ranch for some serious mountain bike riding!!! I don’t think Obama could keep up .....

I meant with it being June and all, may not be safe for Obama to be out and about in the open.

Looks like his rear rim is almost touching the pavement, unless it’s just an artifact of the angle of the photo. It looks to me that his rear tire is seriously under-inflated..... need some proper bike maintenance there, Obambi!!

BO reminds me of Norm Rice, former Mayor of Seattle. He was a real up and comer for the Rats. Like BO he was a clean cut nice talking black man, but he was a bit lite in his loafers. After some nasty rumors were spread about his sexual orientation(like being shot and having his city car stolen from in fron of a gay guys house)..he kinda lost steam and has stuck to none elected offices.
This was definitely a photo op thing..the bike’s too small and he looks like a dork.
