In my opinion the “Bush lied and people died” crowd are despicable. Are fundamentally dishonest and of low character. I want nothing to do with them.

A woman in my area has a “Bush lied and people died” bumper sticker on her car. Her son went to West Point and was injured in Iraq. The disconnect is unbelieveable. How did Bush lie? He was relying on information that was provided to him. Who are the liars here?

I think it was the so-called "anti-war" group United for Peace and Justice who first came out with that slogan ("Bush Lied, Who Died?" or something along these lines). Strangely, they were using it long before we knew what Saddam actually had. But maybe this explains it: UFPJ's national coordinator is a woman named Leslie Cagan. Cagan is a longtime supporter of communist causes and a devoted admirer of Fidel Castro. She founded the org Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism. CCDS is an old offshoot of Communist Party USA. One of UFPJ's co-chairs is Judith LeBlanc. LeBlanc is vice-chair of Communist Party USA. I suspect they were following Moscows' orders again in running that propaganda campaign.
