There's not a lot of there there, unfortunately. So much of it is "Ray said..." and he's relating things others said or thought. The comment about Malcolm X, about expungnig his white blood, is similar. And he says some whites are ignorant--uh, well, look at the whites who voted for him, and I'd say the same thing.

Not much here, as much as we might like there to be.

why was Ch. 14 of the book left out of the audio version?

The chapter wasn't left out, just certain "awkward" phrases -- apparently throughout the book.

I have the eBook version of "Dreams," and it really is a literary disaster. I seriously doubt that more than a small percentage of those who bought it actually read it -- there's no chronological order, he meanders all over the place, and I came to the conclusion that Obama (or whoever actually wrote it) purposely made it vague and unreadable so that he could embellish his life story as he saw fit. Which is exactly what he's done.

Probably the best characterization is that "Dreams from My Father" is as one long, torturous meditation on past racial grievances made present.

Can you imagine what the MSM would do to George Bush or John McCain if there were this many audio recordings and video tapes of them saying "Black Folks."

The quotes about Obama lauding "Black Liberation Theology" are quite damning.

Thanks for pointing that out. I watched the video again when my husband got home from work, and noticed that it wasn’t just from one chapter, but all through the book. All the more “damning” phrases were conveniently left out. Absolutely sickening...

The MSM can not keep this video and his writings a secret for very long.

John Kerry could not keep his book "Winter Soldier" a secret during the 2004 campaign. Sooner or later, people will get access to the information.

As long as the left does not shut down Conservative Talk Radio and Internet sites such as FreeRepublic.com, we will be able to get access to this Video and other information needed to learn about the Democratic ( and Republican) nominee.

Is there anything more out there today regarding Obama’s birth certificate? Why can’t his campaign produce it?

1. Rumor is he as born in Kenya
2. Brought to Hawaii as a baby and birth certificate was made up there
3. The birth certificate list his name as Barry Mohammed Obama
4. Hawaii does not produce these as a public record

This is a reality check. The man is running for president. Why can’t we ask and get this information and have it analyzed? What is he hiding?

The entire “race speech” deal bothers me no end, too. When he turned on a dime and refuted everything he said in that speech, nobody in the MSM said Boo. Barry is a cheap, lying fraud, but at least we have enough time (I think!) to expose him for what he is, I’ve been doing the educating amongst my liberal family. Mostly, they are not aware of Barry’s whole rap because it doesn’t get reported. Thank goodness for the Internet.

Obama is a racist, yes, but these words and his mentors go even beyond that. Race is just the vehicle to push his Communism.

As you look at your middle class children and sit in you middle class home and drive your middle class car, know that this is what Obama and his evil companions despise. They hate you and your middle classness because only the very poor are willing to transfer their freedom to them for a bowl of meat. Poverty is what ignited the Bolshevick Revolution and even the New Deal. Obama would love nothing more than to destroy the middle class of America and to make them rely on him and his government. Individualism and liberty are the enemy of Obama and Democrats in general, he is just different packaging.

We can never be apologetic of our middle classness and even our desire to achieve the riches Obama and his Pastor enjoy. Environmentalism and Black Liberation theology are just tentacles of the larger threat.

Here's the part that he doesn't get. Since he has told us that his grandma is a typical white person, I'm going to assume that his grandma is a typical white woman and not some valkrie skilled in all forms of martial arts.

With that in mind, what he doesn't realize is that whether this agressive panhandler was white or black, she would have most likely been afraid. She was most likely fearing for her safety as the guy was agressive and could most likely have physically overpowered her if he had wanted to. Women in general are of smaller stature than men and have more fear of someone accosting them on the streets than men do. What his grandmother was communicating was her fear of being accosted. What he heard was a fear of black men. Who's the racist Barry?

Actually, I think I'm starting to understand this idea of not trying to attain middle classness through the examples of Barry and Rev Wright. I have to admit I agree with them. Go straight from the poorhouse to the penthouse. Skip the middle class! Yeah, baby!!!
