shinseki isnt liked in some army circles, he took the black beret from the rangers and gave it to every army soldier. He thought it would bring pride to the uniform, that Joe bagof donuts would have higher self-esteem if he had beret. I think he shouldve left the rangers the black one it had been theirs its a tradition. but it also the most useless piece of headgear ever, I perfer boonies myself.
