Webb, a descendant of Confederate officers, also voiced sympathy for the notion of state sovereignty as it was understood in the early 1860s, and seemed to suggest that states were justified in trying to secede.

The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round...

Why not? The Demo Party itself has strong roots in the Confederacy.
In fact, I predict that Obama will be the Dems’ biggest loser since Jefferson Davis.

A man with an affinity for “lost causes” would make a perfect running mate for Obama.

Let him pick Napolitano.

She is gayer than Richard Simmons and got elected in AZ.

She is an idiot and is already vetted.

Everyone knows she is an idiot.

Nothing to see here. Webb votes with the liberals now. Like Byrd, it is a nonstory. If Webb were a Conservative, he would be slimed.

Plotkin was reading an excerpt from Webb's novel "Something to Die For," in which Webb describes a female stripper performing sexual acts with a banana. Excerpted.. read more here....

Perhaps the real reason being his pornographic writings about young boys. The thought of this man being elected after his books still sicken me.

I think no way in hell does Webb get on the ticket. There is probably something about him to offend every RAT constituency.

"didnt Webb write some weird novel with some sex stuff in it? maybe I’m confused. "

James Webb is a VERY wierd and confusing person- From the back flap of his book "Born Fighting": "One of the most highly decorated Marines of the Viet-Nam War, he served as Assistant Secretary of Defense and Secretary of the Navy during the Reagan administration."

I bought and read his excellent nonfiction book about the Scots-Irish founders of this country, written by the Republican Webb, copyrighted in 2004. I did hear about his novel, but haven't read it. Also, I believe that he has a son currently or recently serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Here’s how the mediots will handle this if it happens:

“Macaca. Macaca. Macaca, macaca McCain macaca. Macaca? Macaca.”

Hey, it worked for Born Idiot in 2006.
