No Fans Baring Chests, Proposed Rule Says
Bare Or Painted Chests Would Be Banned From Indoor Sports

WAUSAU, Wis. -- Keep your shirts on. That's the message to Wisconsin high school sports fans.
A proposed rule would bar bare or painted chests from indoor sporting events.
The recommendation comes from a committee of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association.
One official of the group noted that students can't go to class shirtless, so they shouldn't be able go to games that way, either. But 15-year-old Steve Gering doesn't agree.
He will be a sophomore at Wausau East High next fall. While he has never considering going to a game shirtless, Steve said a handful of wild fans make the games more exciting.
Yay school spirit. Everyone at sports events should sit quietly and read maybe.
I think this rule should be applied only to males.
Elaine: Why is the letter ‘D’ painted on your chest?
Puddy: Well, I’m going to the game tonight, and me and these five other guys are gonna take our shirts off and spell out ‘Devils’.
“But 15-year-old Steve Gering doesn’t agree.”
You tell em Steve!
What’s this country coming to when a guy can’t even run around with his shirt off at a sporting event?
... The shirtless ban seems downright un-American!
At least, of the non-male fans...
Here's the Devils fan George wishes he'd met at the game!
Svenska alert! Whoa momma. I am now completely convinced that this is a very very stupid law.
Typical argument from a government-school bureaucrat. Students can't go to class shirtless, so they shouldn't be allowed to shower shirtless, either. Students can't play basketball in class, so they shouldn't be allowed to play basketball at a basketball game, either.
I love football games: Testosterone Bowls, and I need the pheromone exposure!
