Tornado Strikes Scout Camp - Large Emergency Response

A possible tornado has struck the Litle (spelling from site?) Sioux Scout Camp in Iowa. Very large response is being reported by media. Large number of injuries.

Not good....not good....not good.....I hate to feel helpless at times like these. It happened.....pray it was just an F-0 or better. I was reading that the other day, a twister recently picked up a dog and safely put him down in a nearby field. Let's hope........

Crap, can’t let my wife know about this. My son is at Scout camp in North Ga. this week. Prayers for Scouts and families. Emphasize the “R” tonight.

We camped near there on our cross country trip in 2001.

My daughter just called and said four confirmed dead. Many injured. This may be the worst disaster yet for Iowa. Tornadoes flying around my daughter's house. Supposedly, it's headed our way.

Nothing compares to these young boys. My house can be blown away. I don't care. The tragedy of these young boys is just too much. Pray

Thanks. This is just too much. The flooding is nothing in comparison to the loss of life of these youngsters. I've heard as many as 40 injured.

My grandson is a firefighter in Omaha and he said reports are that this is very serious.
