It was discovered that during the height of the recent flooding in Wisconsin Democratic Governor Doyle spent the whole day a personal campaign fund raiser golfing and banqueting with big money donors and not on the job. Apparently, someone directly involved in supporting the banquet thought it was shocking that Doyle would be spending the day on the golf course while Wisconsinites were fighting and struggling with the state's worst flooding in history. This golf course whistleblower contacted a few media outlets and the only one interested in covering this news was radio host Mark Belling on Milwaukee. Doyle's fund raiser allow him to raise about $1200 per person totaling tens of thousands of dollars for his personal campaign war chest. Doyle's refuses to release exact numbers of attendees or cash raised. It is not known how long Doyle was off the job during the disaster, Doyle will not release his schedule. But the MSM doesn't care. Would a Republican have gotten the same non coverage?

“Madison - Gov. Jim Doyle spent part of Tuesday at his annual campaign golf outing, while also coordinating state government efforts to fight flooding and get federal aid to help pay for damage.

Doyle spokesman Lee Sensenbrenner said Wednesday that the governor attended part of his campaign’s sixth annual golf outing at University Ridge Golf Course in Verona, which had a suggested contribution of $1,250 per golfer.

Sensenbrenner said no response to the flooding was hampered by Doyle’s stop to visit his campaign supporters, because the governor talked frequently with National Guard officers, representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and cabinet secretaries, including Natural Resources Secretary Matt Frank.

State Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus criticized Doyle for taking time to raise campaign cash after the flooding.”

But, but, according to the reports on the news on Monday, he spent the day being flown around in a helicopter to look at the disaster areas. Or, maybe that was the day AFTER.

Not surprising. Without the Big Money, he’s out of a job.

I’m sure Michael Moore was on hand with cameras, and will be making a documentary about the displaced white people, and how the government treats them specially.

Sorry the link doesn’t work. Here’s a transcript:

“Well, what do you think, young fella? I’d keep playing. I don’t think the heavy stuff’s gonna come down for quite a while.”
