i am just glad my two pups can’t read your posts on this thread or they would be MAD at me. LOL!! the most they get is a handful of fries when we go through the drivethru! i have two cavalier king charles spaniels. one weighs 11 lbs the other 20 lbs and my concern would be doggy diarrhea if i let them have a whole hamburger!
Yes, I spoil dogs, and one cat.
I had visitors this week from out of town, hadn’t seen them in about 10 years. They were the LEAST likely to be dog lovers. They showed up with their “child,” a beautiful little four year old female beagle (I actually heard him tell his wife once “look what YOUR daughter has done”).
I told them I used to make fun of people who babied their dogs, until I started doing it, and so now I understand.
And the last time they visited me (about 10 years ago) they had to put up with me and my dogs, and they weren’t dog lovers then, so I am sure they laughed at me.
Funny how all these things come full circle.
My hubby was telling these guests about being in the military, and coming home from overseas and visiting with his parents, who had NEVER had a dog in the house when they were raising their five kids.
He walked in his parent’s livingroom and found them on the couch with their new “baby” right between them, a dog. Said he was shocked, never expected them to have their lives evolve around a dog, and especially to let a dog on the couch!!!
