The Breaking News thread is over 400 posts already. Very respectful for the most part. Most are able to separate his views as a Democrat from his love of country, family and especially his Dad, who is still with us. I feel very badly about the loss of Russert.

The reaction I have is completely different to the one I had with news of Kennedy’s illness. Though I wish him well, I know his views are not in the best interests of our country (putting it mildly) and he has disrespected his vows to his wife and church.
