Americans celebrated the red, white and blue in Orange, CA today.
Passersby were very positive and enthusiastic and there was lots of horn honking and thumbs up.
The early arrivers were honored with a red white and blue lei and a temporary flag tattoo, provided by Ray

Hey, I grew up in Orange, just blocks from the circle. Graduated from OHS in 1974. Good to see the old hometown.

We have our flags up but our neighborhood is bare. So sad.

It is sad, I know what you mean. Currently we have a liberal preacher at our church who did absolutely NOTHING for our fallen heroes the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. He not only did NOTHING, he went in the complete opposite direction. I’m still so mad about it I could spit nails!! I’m bringing a small flag to church tomorrow and I’m going to put it in the offering plate with a note. May not be a very nice note either! God bless you, we’ll keep flying our flags!

Actually I’d love to get a small version of the “Don’t Tread On Me” flag, lol! I’m starting to wonder if he’s not some Code Pink thing in drag.

Same here and grad 71. Stopped by briefly for awhile, it was nice. Was there an antique car rally or something? Saw them everywhere.

Wouldn’t know I am in Virginia. Still good to see these things going on at home.

Wow! Our pastor is very conservative. He teaches a Bible based lesson each week. We go to a Calvary Chapel and they do book by book - verse by verse study of the Good Book.
Our pastor did a special Memorial Day video and he made the children stay in and watch it. Usually they are dismissed after the second song. He also has been known to have all veterans and those who are serving stand for recognition. He rocks!
