Btw, while T. Boone is certainly an expert of the oil industry, one should be cautious of taking his comments too seriously as the wily old dude has been guilty of “talking up or down” whatever endeavor he may be pursuing at the time...

I know what you mean. There is one guy here I've noticed who seems to enjoy treating his fellow Freepers as if they were from DU or KOS. I figured if he wants to insult someone he should try it with them and not us. He probably doesn't have the guts.

IMNSHO, the "rudeness" was on your part. This site is about posting articles, and commenting thereon, not videos. Why should I have to take the time to watch a five minute video, when I can read the transcript in one minute and be better informed. The topic might actually be of interest, but "doing video" wastes my time, which I already have too little of.

In case you haven't noticed, threads are about expressing OPINIONS. I find posting videos offensive. That's an OPINION. Live with it.
Look back upthread. I wasn't the one who started the name-calling. I expressed an opinion about a preference for text postings over videos, and "kellynla" got into high dudgeon because I "dared" to say so.
I happen to think that "pure video" postings impede the functioning of the site, and that text postings are far better. Your opinion may differ, but you're entitled to it---and are certainly free to comment to that end on this forum---and so am I.

Nope. For anybody who can read with any speed, being forced to slow down to the speed of a video is almost painful. See post 30 for another view.
