I can’t stand Biden. But Lieberman is the Democrat version of McCain. We can set our thermostats at 85 and pay carbon credits for breathing.

Well, one thing is for sure, both parties are pathetic in their choices of nominees. I wouldn’t rule out Mickey Mouse or Pee Wee Herman on either ticket. The Great OZ has spoken.
When Biden was in the race, he made the point that he was more electable than Hillary or Barry. I believed that, but he did not have enough star power for the Democrat primary crowd. Barry could do worse than Biden. Biden could help him with Hillary voters, Edwards cannot help him much with those voters.
Who is McCain going to pick? Throw some out there. I’ve been trying and I see Romney.
Karl Rove listed Biden as the leader in the four he thought were the leading potential nominees.

I have always thought that, whoever we’ll be voting for, it will be a democrat. It will either be a McCain democrat or an Obama democrat. Who in hell are we kidding?

McCain is not going to pick Lieberman. He’s just trying to ride Lieberman’s coattails. It’s much like the fact that he’s permitted rumors that he might consider Romney. Why piss off their supporters? Let them think their man is in the running. It’s good politics.
