Hes an Army vet, 9/11 survivor, and small business owner who is challenging smear merchant/corruptocrat Rep. John Murtha. I saw Russell at the fantastic Pennsylvania Leadership Conference last month (where the photo above was snapped). He is a staunch conservative, a true American patriot, and he deserves your support. If there were ever a time for the grass-roots to come together and help an underdog Republican candidate make a difference, this is it.

As a side benefit, we could send a message to all RATS throughout the country that regardless of their support from the MSM and powerful backing from the Dhimi party and leadership, if push comes to shove, we can affect the outcome of an election even if we are not constituents.
And the icing on the cake, would be to help turn out one of the most corrupt, partisan, traitorous, Dhimi and we could use this as a springboard to work towards the same results elsewhere.
What say you all? Me, I'm putting a check in the mail today!!!
Ping.
Ping ~~~
Thanks for the link. Had it ready to include, but had a “Senior Moment” and forgot. lol
Yes except they have to wait until the appeal is completed.
Moreover, no one will be surprised that outside here and maybe Fox, no one will know about this--as usual with the MSM in-the-tank and shilling for every RAT in the country.
That fat traitorous pig should be sued until he doesn’t have enough money to buy toilet paper.
We used to have a saying when I was younger (many moons ago) that someone like Murtha is so full of sh*t that if you gave them a bottle of Ex Lax, you could end up burying them in a matchbox.
He needs prison time. Isn't slander a crime?
Can't even a prosecutor not go out and say so and so committed a crime outside of his fiduciary duty as a prosecutor?
This kind of thing always confuses me.
Educate me if it isn't.

And don’t forget FReeper Katherine Jenerette http://www.jenerette.org/
Word has it that he wears a dipher.
Thanx for the ping! I wonder if the people in his district like what he’s done? His approval ratings should be close to 0.
I really don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble, or be branded as a “troll” or a “defeatist”, but I am just speaking as a life-long resident of Murtha’s hometown and congressional district who has never voted for him.
There are some locales in the country that, no matter what the circumstances or the candidate, that it would be next to impossible to change the ruling party or clique. Ronald Reagan reincarnated would never win a House seat in Berkeley or Martha’s Vineyard, or be elected mayor of Detroit.
The only way John Murtha will ever leave this seat is through retirement or death. Here are, in my opinion, the top reasons.
Significant voter registration advantage.
Cambria County has a 2-1 D registration advantage, and although that doesn’t reflect the entire 12th District, it still probably averages out to no better than 60-40.
Demographics.
This area has a super-high percentage of senior citizens that still revere FDR/JFK. Many of those are retired mill workers/coal miners who will never lose the union mentality. A good percentage of the younger (35-60) people also have the union mentality as well. Although we are religious, gun-toting social conservatives for the most part, since Murtha is not openly hostile to pro-lifers, the second amendment, or overly sympathetic to gays, he will always have an advantage because he can’t be painted as “not one of us” on the social issues and the “Republicans are out to cut Social Security and screw over the workin’ man” outlook is just too prevalent among the majority of voters.
Bringing home the bacon.
We have the John Murtha Airport, the John Murtha Cancer Center, the Joyce Murtha Breast Cancer Clinic, among others. Add to that all the govt. funding-created jobs at CTC, DRS Technologies, Lockheed, NDIC, KDH Defense, etc., and you have a built-in cadre of big-money contributors and voters. In addition, since the economy of this area has taken many hits over the past few decades, no local media or local politico is ever going to want to rock the boat to derail the gravy train.
To sum it up, too many people in this area just don’t care about Murtha’s Iraq policy and public statements to overcome the above-mentioned factors. Russell will just be painted as a “carpetbagger”, dismissed/ignored by the local media, and be lucky to get 40% of the vote in November.
If any Cambria County/SW PA FReepers can paint a more cheerful outlook than this, I’d like a pep talk, but sometimes the odds just can’t be overcome.
Trying to influence a R win here is like Obama putting money and effort into Idaho and Utah for the fall campaign, or McCain wasting time on California.
Please, put your money into true swing districts, or go after the 2006 Dem winners in R areas who lucked out through scandal or retirements.
Again, I don’t want to be flamed for this post, but this is just my assessment here on the ground in Murtha’s district.
Yeah, I’m going to tell him to do that when I talk to him Monday.
THEGREENPAPERS.COM has her listed as losing in the Primary to Brown. Is she still on the ballot? Will she continue on in politics? If so, I will put her on my list, because the list is for 2008 and into the future!
Thank you!
Ah Ha! That does make a difference!
Murtha's name has been floated by the CBC to be Obama's running mate. I pray Obama's stupid enough to do such a thing.
