He has some kind of speech impediment.

I shouldn’t laugh at him but he is such a putz.

Some trivia on the helium-throated Mr. Kennedy, courtesy of Wikipedia and Kennedy’s website...

In 1983, he was arrested in a Rapid City South Dakota Airport for heroin possession. A search of his carry-on bag uncovered 183 milligrams of the drug.

Kennedy, then 30 years old, was sentenced to two years probation, periodic tests for drug use, treatment by joining Narcotics Anonymous, and 1,500 hours of community service.

In April 2001, Kennedy was arrested for trespassing at Camp Garcia the United States Navy training facility on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico. Despite the best efforts of his counsel, former NY Governor Mario Cuomo, on 18 July 2001 Kennedy was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Kennedy is a licensed master falconer and former president of the New York State Falconer’s Association.

Kennedy married Emily Ruth Black (b. October 15, 1957)[2] on April 3, 1982.

They divorced on March 25, 1994 in the Dominican Republic. He married Mary Richardson (b. 1960) on April 15, 1994 on board a research vessel along the Hudson River. They have four children.

The eldest was born on July 24, 1994.

He is a practicing Roman Catholic and attends mass daily.

Kennedy has been criticized for receiving royalty payments for participation in two family-owned oil drilling companies...

He’s an advocate of wind power, but not off Cape Cod.

Every time I hear Kennedy with his whiny voice I truly believe we now have the opportunity to revive castrati opera, and he could be the star!

There are out west.

Just try to build a Geothermal plant in yellowstone and watch watch Kennedy change his tune.

We should harness the geothermal energy Kennedy is spouting.
The guy is blowing smoke!

Do you, like me, get the feeling that RFK is looking down his nose at everyone while watching that video?

Yes I do.
He has a great disdain for the “little people”

This Kennedy and a few others are entitled elitists. They know so much more than the common man. They have time to contemplate important things that none of us will ever understand. Ask Obama. He has the same condescending view of the common man.

I bring your attention to my tagline.

Kennedy is like a sock puppet spouting the latest "we can't drill our way out of this - it will take 10 years to bring new oil to the pumps - we need alternative fuels and sources of energy (but not in my backyard)"

Dem-Libs-Kennedys All long on bitching but way short on any ideas.

And if any Kennedy had an original thought, they wouldn't recognize the symptoms.

RFK gets income from oil. His equally drug addled cousin Patches reported income of $50K last year from the Arctic Royalty Limited Partnership which is the tax exempt front for Mokeen and Kenoil.

That’s not a speech impediment, that’s what Heroin does to your brain.

“I love it when Doofusboy says the answer is geothermal like in Iceland.”

If you weren’t such a right wing reactionary, you would understand the great vision of his plan. All we have to do is fracture the Earths crust under all of our major cities, inject large amounts of water and capture the energy in giant steam turbines.

“We cant drill our way out of this addiction”

Sure we can. It's called supply and demand an there is NO shortage of oil. The reason why we have the problem in the first place is because of ignorant idiots with such thinking.

Open ANWR, open off shore drilling, build nuclear plants..... Our problems today are the result of ideological agenda’s be politically pushed through years past. From Caribou to polar bears or the “potential” threat of another Chernobyl, acid rain, nuclear waste, endangered reefs with endangered fish.......... Through bogus fear and threats as well as bogus conservationism, the far left has suspended free market and common sense and for years like in good typical socialist fashion managed the energy sector for us through government institutions. As with ethanol, these things turn into a huge mess with time, because the government inherently does not think with concepts like a bottom line, pragmatism, efficiency, or supply and demand. Rather, like in the VA, or with Social Security where some want to promise illegals benefits too; when the government runs the show, decisions are made based on special interests, trendy political whims and themes (today the buzz word is “green”)...... What becomes important when a government takes over isn't the function/end, but the means to the end/form. It soon becomes a political gravy train where idiots like a Kennedy, or Davis from California play their games and the real end becomes political, not output. The real goal once government takes over ANYTHING is “how do I the politician” score politically from using this issue to my advantage? So at the VA you end up with Sharpton wasting millions on special boards and panels to investigate racism. Contracts are awarded to small and minority owned businesses which are high risk and fail........ But as you can imagine, all these things score big points with their constituents. My point is simple, it's the government and their omniscient meddling which largely caused the problem in the first place, and the answer isn't more government with more great ideas like ethanol (BTW, how do you like your grocery prices lately?).

Nice-

You know how socialists get around that right?

Create a subsidy and pump money into the venture, and then claim that it's making money and use it as an example of how “green power” can work. Look at some recycling schemes, that's exactly what they are doing!

Thats because their idea of "sustainable energy" is always inherently inefficient. The free market inherently seeks efficiency.
