Is this “registered voters” or “those likely to vote”?

Registered, which means under Likely To Vote and Most Likely To Vote Mac leads. This is areat news for McCain, and the MSM will have to report it, everyone except for Olbermann, I’m sure he’s still having a hissy fit after he was passed over as interim host of Meet The Press

I would have expected Barry to be romping away with it considering all the free and fawning publicity he’s had courtesy of the MSM

I have a question for all, do you think it’s possible McCain will ask Ridge to be his running mate? I know Ridge is pro-choice, but could he pledge to support McCain’s pro life position? I read something yesterday that said if Ridge was named as McCain’s running mate Obama would have no chance in PA, especially since Rendell ruled himself out as Obama’s running mate this past week, or Ohio. I personally hope McCain picks Palin, but I was curious what others thought about Ridge.

Replacing Russert with Olbermann would be like replacing a Labrador Retriever with a rabid Chihuahua.

My guess is that they are polling in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan regarding putting Ridge on the ticket. McCain and Ridge are close friends.

I suspect Ridge will change his position to more pro-life if he is put on the ticket with McCain.

How did he do on Fox News Sunday today? I think McCain will be watching that carefully as well.

It's more like this:

Gallup polling and all their slanted garbage is an oversampling democrats to dissuade people from going to the voting booth in November.

The Gallup b@stards are manipulating numbers through their oversampling of democrats, and subsequently altering reality for their "report" to the voter.

They should all be arrested on charges of maninpulation of research, fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud.

WALLACE: Governor Ridge, if McCain asks you, what will you say?

FORMER PENNSYLVANIA GOV. TOM RIDGE: If he asks me, we’ll have a private conversation and we’ll decide whether or not we ought to tell you what we said.

I appreciate the question. I think it’s very important, and I think the senator agrees with me, it’s a very important choice for both parties. Both men are going to look at it very, very carefully. They have a deep bench, both sides of the aisle.

And when it becomes appropriate to talk about it, either from my perspective or Senator Daschle’s, I guess we will. But for the time being, I’ll leave that conversation up to my friend John.

WALLACE: Let me ask you, Governor, about one question, and it’s sort of like Senator Daschle’s. It’s a generic question, but it does directly affect you as well.

Your biggest problem, according to the handicappers, is that you’re pro-choice. Now, back in 1980, when Ronald Reagan picked George H.W. Bush, who was pro-choice, he said, “Look, I’ll support the nominee of my party.”

If McCain were to say to you, “I’d like you on the ticket,” would you be willing to say on that issue of abortion, “I will follow the dictate of Senator McCain, the nominee of my party?”

RIDGE: Well, I believe what I believe, and I’ve had that point of view before I got into elected office. I’ve had it when I served, and I have it now.

And again, number one, we’re not a one-issue party. Never have, never will be, although it’s very important to our base. And it’s very, very important to Senator McCain.

He feels very, very strongly about that issue, and that’s why any conversation we have relative to that issue or the vice presidency is something that he and I have to discuss before I ever go down that path publicly.

WALLACE: But I just want to ask, because you said I believe what I believe, are you saying you would not be willing to make the pledge of support?

RIDGE: Well, I couldn’t possibly — I believe what I believe. I mean, I believe what I believe and have felt that way throughout my entire life.

Obviously, the vice president’s job is to support once a decision is made, whether it’s on social issues, economic issues or diplomatic issues, the position of the president of the United States.

But that doesn’t mean that you don’t share a belief that you’ve had your entire life. But again, those are really difficult and challenging questions when the vice president and the president disagree on a wide range of issues, but the vice president’s job is to support the administration.

Sounds to me like Ridge is in contention for the job and would be willing to support McCain’s pro life position. Interesting.

Interesting? It's simply ambition. Granted, McCain is a loser. But so is Ridge. These schmucks are so disconnected, they think there is a possibility they could win.

Replacing Russert with Olbermann would be like replacing a Labrador Retriever with a rabid Chihuahua.

A rabid off the scale left wing anti-american who promotes personal agenda without concern of repercussion via his lack of understanding of the number of individuals who may hear him because of his focus on himself who is obviously above all, lacking the ability to take advantage of his position in society to achieve total promotion....Olbermann.

Sorry for my "point to be made" intentional lack of punctuation.

It's fitting for an Olbermann referencing reply to a thread IMO. ; )

They could win, and if they team up and Ridge pledges to support McCain and the Repub party’s pro life position 100% then that ticket would safely secure PA, OH and MI, hence Obama loses hands down.

Ha, ha:

Throw in the shiite that will come out about barack mcgovern and the bardley factor and this is a Mccain blow out. Oh BTW I KNOW nothing will change the minds of the hard left and the pimple faces, I’m saying the fence sitters and the so called moderates who are already walking away, will start running away.

As far as I know, Ridge has never lost an election. He can camp out in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota, maybe even New Jersy.
