The Coming Fascist State (G. Gordon Liddy Read This On His Show Today)
Constitution Club ^ | June 22nd 2008 | Dave The Infidel Sage

Posted on 06/25/2008 11:40:28 AM PDT by Mongeaux

If the government gets into the business of regulating and controlling carbon emissions it will be an unparalleled concentration of power far exceeding the New Deal under Roosevelt. The government will be in complete control over what businesses and average citizens consume and produce. It is the gateway excuse to rule, regulate and control your daily life in a fashion that we have never tolerated before but are now expected to meekly accept as we attempt to bailout the bathtub with a teaspoon. Never have Americans been so willing to hand over the most fundamental financial, transportation and quality of life decisions to a central authority on such questionable grounds.

We have been brainwashed that climate change is mainly caused by human activity and that somehow carbon taxes, economic socialism, monitoring lawn mower emissions, criticizing cow flatulence and flailing away at the faceless evil that is “oil” will somehow make a difference on climate changes we are only barely beginning to understand, let alone significantly influence one way or another.

Rather disturbingly, presidential hopeful Senator Barack Obama made the following statement while campaigning in Oregon. P>

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK.” “That’s not leadership,” Obama declared. “That’s not going to happen.”

I’m sorry, excuse me? I’d be happy to see him or one of his cronies point out to me where in the constitution an Obama administration has the right to tell me how much food I can feed my family, or how many miles my car must get per gallon to be legal or whether or not I can turn the air conditioner on.

Yes the post is a few days old, but Liddy's reading it aloud on his show today (which means people might wish to see it on the original site, especially if they missed the show) sorta makes it news IMHO.

Not to worry, I’m sure the American people will rise up and...uh, nervemind. We’ll just roll over and take it as usual.

What would be wrong with a 25 million man march. Taking Washington, removing the 5 Marxist SC justices, informing the dems in congress that a few laws are going to be changed on the spot, etc. I think it would be a hell of an idea and one which might just save the people of the US from a shooting war to reclaim our freedom.

It use to be a joke the government would tax the air we breath if they could..

Well it ends up it not the air we breath in (Oxygen)

..It's air we breath out (Carbon Dioxide)

Small wonder the dissenting scientists are hounded mercilessly.

If all these extreme increases in government are implemented, imagine how hard it would be to voice scientific disagreement ten years from now. Might even be illegal.

As usual ... plenty of lament ... no solutions.

For once, just once, I would like to have some solutions tossed in to the equation by these brainiacs who tell us of problems we are quite aware of.

Uh, yea, they might "rise up" after:

they finish voting for the newest American Idol;

watching a rerun of MASH, Sex in the City, etc.;

tossing back shooters at Hooters;

driving the kiddies to soccer practice (the latest idol replacing God)

or working out at the gym to get that perfect body.

Maybe "rising up" is just too much trouble unless they can get some government $$$$$$$$ for their effort.

You mean, as opposed to the many existing laws that are unconstitutional and the desire to push even more unconstitutional laws on us? When does one say, “Enough is enough,”?

I’m surprised there are so many people who still think fascism is right-wing, which is most certainly not.

People need to wake up and realize the government is not the solution to everything (or even most things for that matter) and that the amount of regulation and taxation passed to accomodate these “green changes” will destroy our economy and our liberties and cause our Republic to implode.

You think you’ve got problems? I haven’t heard Gordon Liddy’s show in years.

The “G” man was on an AM station in Bangor, Maine.

One day, Stephen King bought the station, and took it off the air. NOT just G. Gordon Liddy’s radio show....the ENTIRE station went off the air! WTF?

You are right on the money with that.

And these liberal/Democrat/Marxists including Pelosi,McCain , and Obama are trying to impose socialism on the U.S. as fast as possible because the little ice age has started already.And these liberal/Marxists want to impose this totalitarian state on us before people realize that it is getting much much colder not warmer. People will realize in a few years or less that there is no global warming, and so that Democrats and the media were lying to us all this time. So they will try to rush this.

Proof that the Sun is dead and the world is headed into another ice age:

http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2008/06/the-sunspot-mys.html
“It’s a dead face,” Tsuneta said of the sun’s appearance.

Tsuneta said solar physicists aren’t weather forecasters and they can’t predict the future. They do have the ability to observe, however, and they have observed a longer-than-normal period of solar inactivity. In the past, they observed that the sun once went 50 years without producing sunspots. That period coincided with a little ice age on Earth that lasted from 1650 to 1700. Coincidence? Some scientists say it was, but many worry that it wasn’t.

Geophysicist Phil Chapman, the first Australian to become an astronaut with NASA, said pictures from the US Solar and Heliospheric Observatory also show that there are currently no spots on the sun. He also noted that the world cooled quickly between January last year and January this year, by about 0.7C.

“This is the fastest temperature change in the instrumental record, and it puts us back to where we were in 1930,” Dr Chapman noted in The Australian recently.
