The BET crowd joined together to holler "Obama or Die" (video here) last night at the annual awards show. MyWay reported:
Barack Obama didn't attend the BET Awards, but that didn't stop attendees from talking about him.
"If we all register and vote, we will have the first black president in the history of America," Sean "Diddy" Combs told the crowd Tuesday at the Shrine Auditorium before chanting "Obama or Die" - a declarative remix of his neutral "Vote or Die" motto from the 2004 presidential election, when he attempted to boost the youth vote.
Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, was just a few blocks away at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion for a fundraiser with a Hollywood guest list that included supermodels Heidi Klum and Cindy Crawford, boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard and movie stars Samuel L. Jackson and John Malkovich. While Obama didn't make an appearance at the BET Awards - either live or on tape - his presence was felt.
As she picked up her award for best female R&B artist, Alicia Keys told the crowd that it's time for black people to erase the word "can't" from their vocabulary.

"Together we can do anything," she said, playing on the Democrat's "Yes We Can" mantra before shouting: "Obama y'all!" It does make you wonder what the inaugural ball will be like come January.

I fear for places like Atlanta and Memphis. My neck o' the woods is much safer in this instance - most minorities own their homes, run businesses and generally have a stake in the community not burning to the ground. Most of 'em are also East Asian or Hispanic, too. Neither group seems inclined to go on the warpath for Barack - indeed, I might have to elbow my way to the front to get a shot, if the SHTF.

Oh you can bet on it. Thats the perfect revenge....if Obama doesn’t win, burn down your own grocery store and steel a TV. That’ll show em.

I don’t expect much here in Albuquerque either, for the same reasons. Besides if we tried to pull together enough people to riot someone would just say, “Eh, mañana.”

Sadly those horses have left the barn, and only now is it starting to sink in that the America and the Republic given to us by the Founding fathers is lost, and a USSA is just around the corner.
This reminds me of when we were waiting on OJ Simpson’s verdict, many blacks were saying there would be riots in the street if OJ was convicted.
Mayor Marty would probably encourage riots just to save the city money on bulldozing East Central and the Southeast Heights, they he can build a stadium there.
It definately wont be those who have a vested interest in their community.

Did you hear what happened at the WET (White Entertainment Television) awards show? Oh, there isn’t a WET — that would be racist.
Now see, that just wont work out. Watching the Trustafarians riot is about as interesting as watching Cricket on TV.
