WASHINGTON — Barack Obama's campaign will send money and staffers to Texas and other heavily Republican states to help elect Democrats in congressional and local races, officials said Wednesday.

Oh joy. Hopefully he’ll confine himself to Austin. He has Austin in the bag already, since Ron Paul dropped out. There are plenty of Hussein stickers and signs here. I had a car window placard that got plenty of one finger salutes. It read:

Seems your right! I was back in Austin yesterday for a visit and there were Obama signs and stickers everywhere. The only McCain signs I saw were on some very high dollar homes in Northwest Hills.

At least the area I live in has an occasional IDIOT with a Osama bumper sticker. There was one of the larger signs near the road a few weeks ago, but there was a roadside grass fire that took care of that unsightly eyesore.
