Sen. Barack Obama began a panel discussion at Carnegie Mellon University this morning with a bunch of really smart panelists from MIT, General Motors, AOL and the SEIU.
Today marks Obama's first visit to the Steel City since April 21, the eve of the Pennsylvania primary; Obama won the city of Pittsburgh proper in the spring primary, but not the state.

The only exciting thing to happen so far was the Secret Services dog -- there to "sweep" the building and the reporters' equipment -- decided to let the crowd know he was done with it all.
After several episodes of crowd silencing barking, the dog was led out of the building to enjoy the beautiful day.
When asking the two Secret Service men what the dogs name was, both independently said, Angry.
The dog is obviously a conservative, and didn't want to have anything to do with this Marxist confab.
To: Salena Zito
The dog was trying to warn the crowd about Obama before being led away.
:-p

If this was the SS’s dog, wouldn’t barking indicate that something was amiss? Wouldn’t that be his/her job to reveal that?

When Obama took the stage he tried to acknowledge the presence of Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, with no luck. Maybe, he slipped out, he has a lot of potholes to fill, joked Obama, who must be somewhat familiar Pittsburghs bumpy terrain.
LOL! Luke might leave one pothole to bust Obama's axlerod. Dukes of Hazzard BUMP!

Would that “Angry” dog also happen to be black and female?
Or a neutered male?

The crowd of 250 or so invited guests...were treated with kid-glove care by the Obama Fellows, a six-week internship that gives students the opportunity to work on the Obama campaign in the field of their home states. Talk about a packed house!!! I'll bet that there were gifts left under each seat--OPRAH style!!!

Is Fast Eddie there? IMO if Rendell is there schmoozing w/BHO then Team Clinton really is done. But if no Eddie...well could that be a sign of continued allegiance to Hillary? Just asking here (cant open the linky...i’m @ work).
To: PennsylvaniaMom
I don;’t necessarily think that a Fast Eddie schmooze job means that Team Clinton is done. After all, our “esteemed” governor is a political whore, and he’ll go wherever he thinks he can get more attention/political capital for himself.

No mention of Rendell in the article. His thuggish loyalty to the Clintons/Criminals is legendary. He is an internal/eternal enemy in my deck of internal/eternal enemies.

Maybe, he slipped out, he has a lot of potholes to fill, joked Obama, who must be somewhat familiar with Pittsburghs bumpy terrain.Yeah, he must have bumped his head while riding over the bumpy terrain. What an insult.
To: PGalt
I just find his absence telling...if he was jumping on the Kumbaya Obama Bus he’d be there...if he is still loyal to Hillary...well maybe thats a good sign (no need to kiss upto BHO). Was Mayor Lukie really not present either (pothole patching jab notwithstanding)? Lukie was pretty supportive of Hillary also...
To: PennsylvaniaMom
Fast Eddie Rendell was spinning his head off with the Friends this morning. After a segment with a PUMA, Ed came on to say that Mrs. Clinton just loves Barry and will do everything in her power to see him win. He's promoting HOUND...Hillary & Obama United Not Divided. Yeah right, Ed.

Ravenstahl was in fact there, sitting off to the side with Allegheny County chief Executive Dan Onorato, one-time Hillary Clinton supporters.
