“Spanish parliament to extend rights to apes”
Why? Is that peckerhead Zapatero that hard up for dates?
And God gave man dominion over the earth....
Genesis 9:1-3 is conservative policy
[... You want to try a Biblical rational for apes
being equal to Man??? Whatever. Read The Book...]
God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and
fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the
fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and
over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
(Genesis 1:28)
Perhaps you missed my sarcasm. I apologize.
If you read my post from the Book of Job, you will
notice that God is saying that even the animals
understand that God gives them life. The Scripture
was not used in any form to say that man and apes
are equal.
Reading God’s Word is always good advice. Thank you.
Since 1981, I have read the Bible cover to cover over
25 times. Scripture never disappoints.
“Vz52?”
I think it’s some BS weapon, a prop. Watch the movie, the rifle looks hokey.
[... there are no monkeys in Canada. OK, lets ignore Quebec...]
You’re killin’ me! LOL!
ll Timothy 3:1-12 Sums it all up.
Deuteronomy states that you should not muzzle the ox... as it is inhumane. I love animals. I eat them as well.
Yup. God gave man dominion over all the earth.
They are most delicious. :)
Deuteronomy says not to muzzle the ox while it’s working.
“You shall not muzzle the ox while he is threshing.”
(Deuteronomy 25:4)
Jackson plans to counter-sue on the basis of being influenced by the pop music of the 1920's.
It was considered cruel to not let the animal eat while it was burdened.
I realize I am being Captain Obvious here, but there is no such thing as “animal rights”. Animals do not have rights because—and here is the obvious part— they are animals.
People have rights and they are unalienable. People also have duties and obligaions which include the duty not to do wanton or cruel harm to dumb animals and the obligation to protect the animals from those who would so harm them.
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these {men} also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith. But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes’s and Jambres’s folly was also. Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance, persecutions, {and} sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium {and} at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me! Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. But evil men and impostors will proceed {from bad} to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2Timothy 3:1-13)
[... there is no such thing as animal rights...]
With rights come responsibility. What are we going
to make apes responsible for ... child care?
What rights are you granting them?
Not only did the Bible instruct us on how to take
care of and respect the animals God created for us,
but the Bible provides wisdom. After all, how well
could an animal do his job, if he is hungry?
The same goes for humans.
Humans first. Your point is lost in the BS...
Humans first. Absolutely.
Why would I want to give rights to animals?
