I thought AIDS ( anybody remember GRID? ) was "everybody's disease..."
I want you all to consider these charts, ad ask just one simple question...
"How is any of this right, or fair?"
I said this a long time ago ( apologies for the bluntness, but it's true ):
"Don't share dirty needles
Don't have anal sex, or sex with those who do...
...and you probably won't catch AIDS."
It's a consequence of damn-fool choices, in the most part.
That’s a lot of money per person for eash AIDS case. It’s a shame they can’t find a much cheaper solution to the problem. If there was only an inexpensive way to prevent HIV, that would free up a huge amount of money for breast cancer, Alzheimers, and numerous other problems that cannot be prevented easily. We should put the best minds in Congress on that task and see how long it takes them to find a cheap and reliable way to prevent AIDS from spreading. Then they re-allocate most of the funding to non-preventable diseases and save more lives.
