Two men were recently arrested on charges of conspiring to export military aircraft parts to Iran. The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency states Hassan Saied Keshari and Traian Bujduveanu are charged in a federal Criminal Complaint with conspiring to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, the United States Iran Embargo, and the Arms Export Control Act for their participation in a conspiracy to export US-made military aircraft parts to Iran.
According to the affidavit filed in support of the Criminal Complaint, Keshari owns and operates Kesh Air International, a business located in Novato, CA. Bujduveanu owns and operates Orion Aviation Corp., located in Plantation, FL

Execute. Now.
No we don't want the Mullahs getting spare parts for their Tomcats.
"Diversity is our strength." - Old liberal saying. (But what do old liberals know?)
Sarc/off
Just hide some sort of transponder in the gear so that our missiles can have an easy time homing in on the aircraft the parts have been put on.
Just get ‘em made in China...
THIS * WOULD STOP if our country still punished treason.
I’ll do it. Free.
Is the penalty for treason still death?
A transponder might be difficult, sabotage is easy. The best part of sabotage is that it makes the Iranians doubt their own gear.
I’m surprised they haven’t transistioned to MIGs or Mirages by this time.
Iran has MiGs, Sukhois and Mirages, some of which were flown from Iraq and confiscated during Desert Storm, but retain the Tomcat. That says much about the capabilities, or lack thereof, of the French and Soviet platforms and speaks volumes about the superior capabilities of the F-14, particularly the AWG-9.
I still think they have a Potemkin military. The only thing they are good for is holding their own population hostage.
Another snip is quite telling. What was it Duncan Hunter said about Dubai? “I don’t trust them”....
With friends like UAE and Mexico we have no need for enemies.
“The affidavit claims since August 2006, Keshari and Bujduveanu have procured US-made military aircraft parts in the United States for buyers in Iran and have illegally shipped the parts to a company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for shipment to buyers in Iran. Keshari allegedly received the orders for specific parts by e-mail from buyers in Iran. Keshari then requested quotes, usually by e-mail, from Bujduveanu and made arrangements with Bujduveanu for the sale and shipment of the parts to a company in Dubai. From Dubai, the parts were then shipped on to Iran.”

Obviously not. Bill Clinton still stalks the Earth.
Take away the bells and whistles, and you still have one Hell of a day fighter, but less than 20 reported airworthy. Give the sons of the imam in the well about 20 minutes in the air against any modern airforce.
The only thing keeping these Bull Shiites on the planet is the fact that Iran is one huge land mass and just catching them in the open to target them is a real military challenge.
BUMP-TO-THE-TOP!
Ping in case you had not seen this.
Thank you jet Jaguar for the ping.
