The Washington Post reports that Sen. Barack Obama is aggressively trying to “reintroduce” himself to voters, echoing the spin of Obama’s advisers that not everyone knows him yet. In reality, Obama’s major campaign challenge will not be to reveal, but to conceal his true identity.
Obama is not trying to introduce himself to unreached voters, but is engaged in damage control with many he’s already reached — and insulted and disillusioned.
As long as he was soaring above the fray with the lofty rhetoric of hope, change and unity, Obama could masquerade as a quasi-messianic figure, but once forced into the nitty-gritty of contested issues and debates, his false visage began to crack. Those cracks expanded into campaign-threatening fissures when voters learned about Obama’s sordid associations and left-wing elitist snobbery toward small-town America.
The Post says that in his reintroduction, Obama has “offered a clear road map for the kind of candidate he is likely to become: an ambitious gamer of the electoral map, a ruthless fund-raiser and a scrupulous manager of his own biography in the face of persistent concerns about how he is perceived.”
What the Post left out is that Obama has also shown himself to be an unscrupulous master of the politics of calculation and expedience. Whether on public finance, NAFTA, Iran, Iraq, Jerusalem, special interests, Cuba, illegal immigration or the decriminalization of marijuana, Obama has demonstrated a propensity for flip-flopping that could embarrass the grandmaster himself, Sen. John Kerry.

But now the senior spokesman of that Department has confirmed to Israel Insider what are the required features of a certified birth document—features that Obama’s purported “birth certificate” clearly lack.
But what his campaign has put forward as genuine, according to the senior spokesman in the relevant department of the State of Hawaii, is not in fact a certified copy. It is not valid.
“Whereas the uncertified Obama document provides the date “filed by registrar”, the certified DeCosta document provides the date “accepted by the registrar.” The difference between filing an application for a Certification of Live Birth and having it accepted may be key here.
“The Obama campaign, however, continues to flaunt the unstamped, unsealed, uncertified document—notably in very low resolution—on its “Fight the Smears” website, with campaign officials vowing that it’s authentic, sending the image around as “proof” to reporters, and inviting supporters to refer to it as they battle against supposed distortions and calumnies against their candidate. However, the campaign refuses to produce an authentic original birth certificate from the year of Obama’s birth, or even a paper version with seal and signature of the “Certification of Live Birth.” Nor has it even published an electronic copy with the requisite embossed seal and signature.

We probably have as much chance of seeing a real copy of his birth certificate as seeing John Kerry’s full military record. Kerry refused to release his military records, and Hussein ObamaMessiaHamas, the Islamofacist Manchurian Candidate will probably not show his BC. We will be labeled as racists for daring to question his birth.
I really don't believe that "smooth" business. The first time I heard BC speak I got a very strange (creepy) feeling, it was at a "gut level" and I instinctively knew he was lying to me and was not to be trusted.
The first time I heard BO speak, I got that creepy feeling again. The cadence, pitch, and intonation are well rehearsed and sound to me like a lead nickel hitting the counter. His mellow modulations sound to me like fingernails scrapping down a chalk board.
My newly found BS meter says that this man is hollow and the truth is not in him. I would never trust him to run a lemonade stand let alone this Blessed Land.

I’m not at all familiar with birth documentation, but generally once a particular design for any official form is set, it gets a version/rev number. In both cases, the form versions are exactly the same: “OHSM 1.1 (Rev 11/01) LASER”. The interesting thing is that BO’s certificate says “Date Filed by Registrar” whereas the example provided for comparison states “Date Accepted by State Registrar”. It seems a bit odd that wording could change like this without at least changing the Rev number.
One difference between Clinton and Obama: Clinton was impeachable. Obama would be immune to that fate, no matter how egregious the offense was.
When you consider the fact that Obama was conceived out of wedlock by a mother who was 17 at the time, a mother who later married during the pregnancy, then was abandoned by her husband, then divorced, then was prepared to raise her baby alone while pursuing her own higher education and her career as an anthropologist --- it makes you wonder why he's so strongly pro-abortion.
He's said that a young girl shouldn't be "punished with a baby" if she becomes unexpectedly pregnant; he's even in favor of the death of the baby by medical neglect after it's born, if it was born subsequent to an unsuccessful abortion attempt. Remember, he was the ONLY legislator who voiced opposition to the Born Alive Infants Protection Act --- the "Baby Alive Bill"-- during his brief tenure in the Illinois Senate.
Did his mother ever tell him she wished she could have aborted him? Did she ever say his conception was a mistake, and his birth, a punishment? What motivates him to take such an extreme position on such a divisive and controversial topic?
I honestly wonder. I feel for him, really, but I don't want to see his psychodrama played out on the world stage.
You're asking the right question, but using the wrong facts. BO attended private schools, then Occidental, then Columbia, then Harvard Law. Despite the family "disgrace" of their young white daughter having a child and then being abandoned by an opportunistic African bigamist, BO's white grandmother took him in and saw to it that he had a quality education.
As a show of his level of gratitude, BO later referred to his grandmother as a "typical white person" who would change her behavior when seeing black males on the street.
